Forgotten Memory's (Second Half) Part V

A week is what he promised me. Everyday he would show me bits of the past. Of our life together with our children. The life we lived seemed to be a simple life a good life. I could see that he loved me and I was in love with him. Our children where our world, we did everything for them. And Strix made sure I never did without. Every night we would lay in bed together and talk naked. It seemed as if it got hotter in the house as the days went by.
It was Thursday of that week tomorrow will be our last night together. I sit on the edge of the bed waiting for Strix to get out of the bathroom.
"What are you thanking" he ask
"I would like to stay longer"
He smiles "Would you"
"Yes"
"And what if you don't remember me tomorrow"
"Come get me and make me remember"
He steps into me "tonight you have to remember something bad"
"I knew it wasn't all going be sun shine and roses"
"When you remember you might change your mind about staying"
"If I learned one thing Strix it's that I loved you once so much that nothing could have stopped me from loving you"
"I wish you still loved me"
"I hardly know you"
He cups my chin making me look up at him "And yet you know everything about me"
Leaning down his lips touch mine in a sweet kiss. "Come with me" he tells me
"Where"
"To our room the room that we made our children in"
"This isn't our room"
"This room was the last room I seen you and our children in before that night"
I looked around the room with a new wonder. What had happened in this room to make this man so sad and who he was today?
"Why do you stay in this room"
"I can hear them better in here" he tells me
I look up at him "the children"
"Yes" he holds his hand out for me to take "let's go"
I take his hand looking back once more at the room we had stayed in all week. I follow him down the hall to anther room. As we step into the room I feel as if I am home.
There is a queen size bed with white sheets and a floral blanket over it. A tall oak dresser stands against one wall and matching end tables on ether side of the bed. This room looks as if it hadn't been touched for awhile. It had that old feel to it but yet it was cozy and inviting. The floor was hardwood the same as the other part of the house.
It was as if time had stopped in this room. I felt as if I had spent many nights in here.
"You remember don't you" he asks looking at me
"I feel as if I have been in here before"
He smiles "We spent many nights wrapped in each other's arms in this room"
I run a hand over the bad "This is where you told me you loved me the first time"
"It is"
"You're father owned it before you"
"He did"
"I lost my virginity in this room"
"Yes, we had a lot of firsts in here, even our first fight"
"I remember that, we were taking Thomas to see my parents and I didn't want him to be held by anyone else but us."
"Yes, and I told you that sometimes we have to do thing we don't want to."
I smile "it was silly, I thought I was protecting him by not letting anyone touch him"
"He was our first child and we were young"
"I remember my moms face after they found out that I was pregnant before we got married"
"Your dad nearly killed me"
"No he didn't, he just gave you a black eye"
He laughs "I love you Valentine"
I look at him as he says it, I don't know if I should love him or not. Apart of me feels like I am just getting to know him while the other part feels as I've known him my whole life.
"It's ok" he tells me "you don't have to tell me right now" he steps into me tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. He leans in kissing my lips once again.
Tilting my head sideways he bites into the same spot he has before. His fingers make there way to my core fast.
And my eyes are rolling before I know it a white light flashes.
"Go up to the room with the children don't come down no matter what you here" Strix tells me
I hurry up to the room, the guy that he owes is coming and he didn't want us to be down there. Strix told me about borrowing the money to pay off a loan that he took out for the child at Christmas. And now this man wants what was owed to him. Strix had said he wasted his soul and a women.
I get to the top going onto our guest room where the children play.
"Hush now daddy has something to take care of" I tell them
I hear something break from downstairs and grab a hold of Roselyn a little too hard and she cried out.
"Shh hush now little ones"
I gather them up and sink down into one of the corners of the room. It's not long before the door swings open and a big guy with glowing dark blue eyes. I cover the children the best I can. He steps forward and the children start to cry, fear sweeps over me and I feel my body trembling. I see as Strix jumps him from behind making the children scream out. But this man gets the better of him slinging him across the room like he was nothing more then a pace of paper. I screamed out for my husband pulling the children closer to me. The stranger focused on us once again a smile on his face.

"Hello Children" the guys voice was rough but he tries to sound soothing.

I pull them even closer to me but he steps closer to us. Grabbing Samuel by the arm I tighten my grip on the boy these are my children and I wasn't given in without a fight.

"Please" is all I can say as I lose my grip on my youngest son. I know I have left nail prints in his pale skin trying to hold on to him.

This can't be happening, he grabs Thomas next and without even a slight tug his gong from me as will. Strix had manage to get to his feet running knocking the man away from us. Only his attempt landed him on the other side of the room. I hear myself scream out once again.

"Please don't hurt the children" I cry as he grabs a hand full of Roeslynn's black hair 

Strix has gotten to his feet once again coming for the man that has our children. I grab the three of them pulling them away from harm as their fathers body slams into the man. 

"Leave them alone Victor" Strix yells out 

My eyes grow wide as this Victor man takes control over my husband pushing him to his knees in front of us. Stirx shakes his head as if he knows what's coming. Than pulling his head to one side I watch in horror as long yellow teeth come out of the mans mouth. Than without a thought he bites into Strix's flesh. Another scream leaves my lips. 

This man is a monster and he just bite my husband. Pulling my children closer to me once again. I feel and hear their cries. The sound of metal hitting the wood floors has me looking back over to where the monster threw my husband. A cage has appeared from where I don't know and I don't know how. But it has trapped Strix inside of it like an animal. 

"No please" I cry out as he reaches for Thomas once again

I knew that no matter how hard I tried I wouldn't be able to fight him. He wasn't human, Thomas calls for me as my nails dig into his skin when Victor grabs him up for a second time. 

"No don't hurt my babies" I cry out trying still to hold on to them he slings his hand back making me fall against the wall. My head hits hard and for awhile I see nothing but black. I hear a loud cracking sound and as my vision comes back I see my three children lifeless in the arms of a man I didn't even know until today. I screamed out no tears rolling down my face as one right after the other he throws to the side like their life meant nothing.

This had to be a nightmare and I was going to wake up. Just like all the other nightmare's I have has in the past right. But I didn't wake up and the man Victor started to come closer to me.

He licks his lips licking the blood that was still in the corner of his mouth. "finally I can have want is mine"

"Please don't" I beg trying to sink into the wall behind me.

He grabs a hand full of my black hair just as he had done to my baby girl and pulled me up. I screamed out as he pulls me over toward the bed inside the room.

"Don't you touch her" I hear Strix shout he shouts something else but the pain is too much and I can't make it out. 

Victor is up on top of me his  filthy hands all over me. I fight trying to push he off of me. His so heavy feeling as if he weights a ton or more. His eyes are glowing a red color and his nails dig into my flesh as he rips at my cloths. 

I scream out my eyes opening as I sit up on the bed tears rolling down my eyes as I try to process what just happen. Strix holds me in his arms as my body trembles. It couldn't be true could it, none of it could be real. 

"Valentine" 

"Where am I"
