Paper Rings - Suga - ❤️

You pick up the phone and quickly hit call on the contact

"Hello?"

"SUGAWARA KOUSHI"

"Yes?"

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

"Ah, you finally noticed?"

-Two Years Earlier-

"Whatcha doin'?" You leaned over to Suga's desk, watching as he carefully folded the piece of paper.

"Nothing really," he shrugged, mostly focused on his project.

"Huh..." it was hypnotic, the way he did it.

After a minute he finished the last fold and presented you with an origami ring.

"Cool," you smile.

"You can have it," he puts the ring on your finger and you both look at it for a moment.

"Once we graduate, I'll give you a proper ring." He promises.

You blush at the thought, "s-stop..." you muttered, staring at your hand.

He pokes your cheek cheerfully, "you're so cute!"

"Stop!" You push his hands away.

For the next two years you'd always find similar rings in your bags, on your desk, and once he tried proposing with one, but you were both laughing too much for it to go as he'd planned.

-Earlier Today-

You were working a shift at a small store and talking to a nice elderly lady, "thank you Mrs..." she squinted at your name tag. "Mrs. L/N."

"Haha, just Miss... have a nice day!" As you handed her her bags you catch her looking at your hand with a puzzled expression.

That was when you noticed...

-Present Time-

"SUGAWARA KOUSHI"

"Yes?"

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

"Ah, you finally noticed?"

"YOU DIDN'T PLAN ON TELLING ME YOU PROPOSED?!"

"Stop yelling, Love. You'll strain your voice. I'm on my way."

"I CAN HEAR YOU LAUGHING!!!"

"See you in five. Love ya bye!" And with that, he hung up.

You stand there in shock before yelling. "HE HUNG UP ON ME!"

There's a soft knock on the door and you move quickly to open it, ready to yell at your boyfriend, now fiancé apparently.

Instead, it's the lady in the apartment next door.

"Are you alright? I heard yelling..."

You smile apologetically. "I am so sorry about that. And I'm fine, thank you. Just an interesting surprise from Koushi..."

She nods, "Alright then, have a nice night."

"You too ma'am."

Finally, he arrived. When you heard the knock you opened it to see him standing there.

"Hello~" he greets cheerfully.

You stare at him, no longer angry at this point.

Moving aside so he can come in, you close the door behind him.

"Sorry, I really thought you would notice sooner!" He apologizes.

You laugh quietly which surprises him, "you dork..."

He nervously laughed as well, half expecting you to start freaking out again. "So... is this a yes?"

"Of course, I wish you'd have told me though. When did you even do it?"

"Well, remember our last date? And how I asked to see the ring you were wearing?"

You nod.

"I switched them."

"Huh..." you think about that.

"So... will you marry me?" Suga asks while taking your hand your hand and getting down on one knee.

Even though you'd been expecting it, the question momentarily surprised you, "um- yes...!" He smiles and pulls you into a hug.

Both of you were laughing a little about the strangeness of the proposal. 

Both of you were definitely ready for your happy ever after.
