Hello basically I'm advertising another of my books, here's the prologue + first chapter. Hope you enjoy it!

Prologue

You'd always hated volleyball. Ever since you could read, you knew two things for sure.

1. Your soulmate played volleyball.

2. Your soulmate wouldn't love you.

All because of those words on your arm...

I'm happy with him. I have to go now, I'm late for volleyball practice.

You weren't too excited for the future, but you managed to keep the dreaded thoughts at the back of your mind. You deluded yourself into happiness.

Until the day your best friend joined the volleyball club...

Oh, how the betrayal stung...

Chapter 1

You numbed yourself to the pain. "Why did you join the club?"

"I'm sorry!" Yachi wailed. Your face held no emotion, which scared the poor girl even more.

You looked at the words on your arm.

I'm happy with him...

You would sometimes wonder if your soulmate was a girl or a gay male.

Only time would tell.

It was mostly quiet. The only sounds were the wind outside and Yachi's sniffles.

You sighed, "I forgive you, I knew I couldn't avoid it forever..."

The blonde girl threw her arms around you. "I'm so sorry Y/N! I-"

You cut her off, "Stop apologizing. It really is okay." You hugged her back, We just need to make the best of the situation we have. Now," you leaned back with a smirk. "Tell me about the girl. What was her name? Kiyoko?"
