The Nurse Office Angel - Nishinoya - 🧡

"Where do you get so many bruises from? There's more every day..."

"Hehe, sorry." He rubbed the back of his neck, embarrassed.

"I'd tell you to be careful but in the past months, I've been saying that you never seem to listen," you sigh.

"In order to be a guardian deity you have to take risks!" Nishinoya yells proudly, standing up and grinning.

"Sit down and stop moving." You order, "what does that even mean?"

His eyes lit up at the question and he happily explained how he was the volleyball team's libero.

"Boys volleyball club huh? Maybe I should come to one of your games." You think aloud as you finish tending to the most recent bruises.

"You should come to our practice! Then I can show you exactly how awesome I am." He puffed his chest out which made you laugh.

-Time Skip-

You walked to the vending machine looking for something to eat, casually eavesdropping as you walked.

"How'd you do on the test?"

"What time's practice?"

"Quick! Give me the homework answers!"

"Are you coming over later?"

"I'm telling you, there's an angel in the nurse's office!"

"Oi! Give that back!"

Wait, what? 'Angel in the nurse's office?' What's that?  You try finding the conversation again but whoever was talking was gone.

With a sigh, you get (food/drink) from the vending machine and go back to the office.

You would usually spend before and after school in there along with lunch and any free periods. You were interested in medical sciences and liked to help in practice for hopefully becoming a doctor or nurse in the future.

After a minute or so, two boys wandered in with bloody noses and black eyes. "A fight?" you ask.

They nod defeatedly as you set to work.

You walked to the gym and cautiously opened the door.

A man came approached, "Can I help you?" He looked a little bored.

"Um-" you freeze, not sure what to say.

"You came!" A familiar voice cheered.

Peeking around the man, you saw Nishinoya holding a volleyball and grinning at you.

"Yeah... I did..." Looking at the man you offer, "I-I can leave if I'm a bother."

He just shrugged and went back to what he was doing. "Just don't get in the way."

"Noya, bro, who's she?!"

"I told you earlier, remember!" Noya shouted back. "The angel from the nurse's office!"

"I thought you were joking!"

You watched as a boy with a shaved head and Noya yelled excitedly about who knows what, you were more focused on what NIshinoya said. An angel in the nurse's office.

"Oi! Get back to practice!" The man from before yelled.

"Yes, Coach!"

"And you can go sit over there until practice is over." He points to you then to a bench on the side.

You nod and do as told.

-Time Skip-

"Rolling... THUNDAAA!!!"

"...what was that?" you ask.

Tanaka laughed, "He calls it his special move. Even though it's just a normal rolling receive. With a stupid name."

"It's amazing and you know it," Noya argues.

"It's where you get your billions of bruises." You frown.

"Ah... that too..."

"Let's go," you sigh.
