Me & Ziggy ran to the Science & Nature hall.
Everyone was playing color war by now so it was perfect timing.
"Is it unlocked?" I whispered.
Ziggy shook her head no, trying to get the door to open.
" here move." I said.
Ziggy moved out the way. I took the Bobby pin that was holding my baby hairs back and put it in the lock hole while wiggling it around. After wiggling it for a few. I turn the handle & the door open.
"You're a genius Kayde." Ziggy said.
"Couldn't do it without you partner in crime." I said, smiling while walking in.
"We gotta stay low key." Said Ziggy.
I nodded while picking up bugs & putting them in the bucket...
Cindy P.O.V
"Shit! Ugh it's ruin now!" I said, as my favorite polo shirt got caught on a tree branch.
Tommy and I were chasing our coworkers Alice & Arnie in the woods. Because Alice had to take my purse & the book I found in nurse Lane's office for search of drugs.
"You cursed again." Said Tommy
"You want me to murder you?" I said.
Tommy looked so pale.
"Babe you okay?" I said, concerned.
"Yeah I'm fine." He said, sniffing.
We heard Alice scream & started jogging towards her.
"Watch your step." She said, climbing out of a hole that was the size of a body.
"Is someone digging a grave?" Tommy said.
"Graves" said Alice, shining her flashlight. Showing us all the other graves.
"Mary.... Hey where the uh" Said Tommy, looking around for the book.
He then picked it up. "The X's look. Look here. She was marking where she dug. " He said.
Alice flip to the next page of the book & started reading from it " 'but without her hand, her grip on the land hold firm & the curse will last until body & hand unite'."
"Maybe Mary was looking for the hand..." Said Tommy, looking through the book. "To end the curse?"
"That made her daughter lose her mind." Said Alice.
"Guys, come on. This is silly." I said.
"Hey, let me see that." Said Alice, reaching for the book.
Tommy went to give it to her but I snatched it out of his hands.
"You can have it. But first give me the drugs. If nurse Mary took them and went crazy, those drugs are very dangerous." I said.
"Oh my god! What happen to you?" Said Alice, laughing. "You remember when we used to have fun? Before you became a snitch?"
"Just let it go already." I said.
