8am
I got up & got ready.
I grab my math text book off my desk since that's where I left it when I was doing homework last night.
I looked up & seen Nick staring at me.
I open my window & stuck my head out, his window was already open.
" take a picture it lasts longer." I said, smiling, because of our conversation from yesterday.
"I wasn't looking at you Kayde. I was looking at your window sill." He joked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Wanna ride to school together?" Nick asked.
"You drive?" I said.
"Duh I'm 17." He said.
"Sure." I said.
"Meet you outside." He said, before closing his window.
I grabbed my book bag off the hook & went downstairs.
"Hey dad, I'm driving with a friend to school." I said.
"Friend? Who's is this friend?" My dad said, sounding concern.
"He's from camp." I said.
"He!!" My dad said.
"Yes he, we're just friends. He is the one who save my life dad. If he had bad intentions I think he would've left me dead." I said.
"Okay, even though it hard for me to process my little girl is growing up. I'm gonna trust you." My dad, hugging me & kissing my forehead.
"See you after school to pick up Ziggy. Bye dad love you." I said, leaving out the door.
"Love you too!" He yelled.
I seen Nick by a red car.
"Should I be scared of your driving." I said, walking up to him.
"Nope." He said, opening the passenger door.
" you know we're just friends, you don't have to open my door. But thank you." I said, getting in.
Nick close the door, then got in on his side.
"Damn Kaydence, just hit me where it hurts why do you." He said, laughing.
" sorry." I said, kinda embarrassed.
"So how is Sunnyvale High School." He asked, while driving.
"It's nice a lot different from Shadyside." I said.
He didn't say nothing afterwards, but kept his eyes on the road.
I put my arm on the center console. I felt a hand on mine. I looked up at Nick then our hands then back at Nick. He flash me a quick smile then kept his eyes on the road. I didn't say anything, I was just enjoying the moment.
Nick then turn into the school parking lot. Parking his car.
"What's your first bell." He said.
"Math, but I'm gonna meet up with my friend Charlotte." I said.
"Okay Kayde, I'll you around." He said, before finding Kurt & walking with him.
I walk up the stairs that led into the entrancing way. To my locker.
"Did you just get out the car with Nick Goode." Said Charlotte, walking up to me.
"Charlotte, can actually greet me once. It will be nice to have a hey Kaydence or did you do last night homework?" I said, laughing closing my locker.
(Charlotte is played by Millie Bobby brown btw)
"Hi Kaydence, now answer my question." Said Charlotte.
"Yes I did. What's the big deal we're just friends." I said.
"Your first girl, Nick ever let drive in his car." She said.
We walked in math class & sat down.
"Okay he hasn't had his license that long." I said, pulling my math notebook & text book.
" you don't get what I'm saying girls aren't Nick's priority & from an outsider point of view you look like priority to him." She said.
" me & Nick are just friends, okay?" I said.
" did y'all kiss?" She said.
"What?" I said.
"Did you guys kiss?" She repeated herself.
"No what, it's none of your business Char." I said.
"Oh my god! You guys did. You were Nick Goode first kiss." She squealed
"Can you shush it." I said.
Ms.Bennett came in going over today's lesson.
"Hey do you have a pencil I can borrow ?" Charlotte whispered.
I got in my bag and handed her a pencil. Then went back to my notes.

The last bell rung, meaning school is over with today.
"Hey, you riding with me ?" Nick said, putting his hand around my shoulder.
"I would love to but my dad & I are driving to Shadyside to pick up Ziggy." I said.
My dad pulled up. I started walking up to the car.
"Wait Kayde." Said Nick, running up to me.
I looked up at him.
"Hey uh do you- I mean are going to the football game tomorrow." He said, sounding nervous.
"I don't know... I might." I said, knowing he wanted me to go.
"Well I if you do we can ride together." He said.
" I'll let you know tomorrow. Bye Nick." I said, getting in my dad's car. Nick waved goodbye.
