The incident with the White Witch had left everyone shaken and whilst Lenna wasn't mad at Caspian for what had happened, his constant apologising was beginning to get on her nerves.

"Caspian for the last time, would you please stop apologising!" Lenna cried in exasperation. "I've said I forgive you."

"Right ok I'm sorry," Caspian said and Lenna gave him a look. "I did it again, didn't I?"

"Yeah you did."

She couldn't be mad at him for what happened. He had only thought what he was doing was right. Nikibrik was the one to blame. He had manipulated Caspian in his moment of vulnerability and used it against him. Caspian couldn't have known the dangers of what had just happened.

The only way for Lenna to escape Caspian's constant apologising was to sit on the ledge of the How. She knew that sitting there was dangerous if there were Telmarine scouts about but the cool air allowed her to clear her head.

Everything seemed to be piling up since she'd arrived back home. And yet it no longer felt like home. She knew that what they were doing with this war between them and Miraz, was to reclaim Narnia to bring it back to what it once was. But Lenna couldn't help but fear that it would never be the same Narnia.

The worst thing was that still her father had not shown himself to her. She'd pleaded to him in her dreams, calling out to him but he ignored her. Not even a glimpse just to let her know that he was alright. She didn't understand why he was staying away from her and if it was because of her that he was staying away. Maybe he really was disappointed in her for leaving Narnia so vulnerable. She hadn't just let her people down, she'd let the great Aslan down too.

She had to stay now. She had to make things right. Even if that meant never seeing the Pevensie's agian. God that hurt. She couldn't stop the tears as they began to fall.

She hadn't noticed the person sit down beside her until they wrapped her in a tight hug. They held her close as she sobbed into their shoulder. It was only when her crying subsided did the person let her go and Lenna was met by the brown eyes of Edmund.

"Ed?"

He smiled warmly and Lenna couldn't help but smile back. "What are you doing out here?" She asked him as she wiped her eyes.

"Looking for you," Edmund said. "Peter was looking for you after what happened. He knew that Caspian was annoying you with his apologies. He asked me to help when he couldn't find you."
