Once dressed, Lenna and the Pevensies headed back to the beach to try and find a direction that would show them what had happened while they were away.

Lenna adjusted her dress, twisting in the corset to make herself more comfortable. Despite hating the modern clothing, she had grown accustomed to it and actually found herself wishing she could wear it instead of the tight corset dress she wore.

Opting for an emerald green, it was floor length and matched beautifully with her red hair. Her sword was strapped to her waist on a brown leather belt along with the pouch that now held her tiara. She didn't want to wear it in case it brought them unwanted attention.

Her crystal and engagement ring were around her neck. The crystal was useless with no magic but Lenna couldn't leave it. She had her bow and arrow strapped over her back as well. She was not as good at archery as Susan was preferring the sword but she felt it completed the look.

The Pevensies were also dressed with their swords, bows and Lucy had her healing cordial.

The beach seemed empty with no one around, but something caught Lenna's attention as she stood stock still. Her ears picked up the sound of splashing water even though the water around them was still.

Hurrying forward with the Pevensies behind her, Lenna spotted the object of the noise. A small rowing boat with two soldiers. She didn't recognise their armour, it was definitely not Narnian.

The Pevensies arrived beside her just as the soldiers stopped the boat and stood up. They picked something from the bottom. Lenna's eyes widened in horror as she recognised the features of a dwarf. Hands and ankles tied with mouth gag, it was clear what was happening.

"They're going to drown him!" She cried and Susan was quick off the mark, securing an arrow to her bow and firing it in a warning shot.

It hit the side of the boat and the two soldiers looked around. Lenna drew her sword as did Peter and Edmund beside her. Susan readied another arrow.

"Drop him!" She shouted.

The soldiers looked at each other before dropping the dwarf over the side of boat and into the water. He sank like a rock, unable to swim. Susan shot her second arrow hitting a soldier. He fell in and his companion jumped in after him.

Without hesitation, Peter had passed Lenna his sword and run towards the water and dived in. Edmund hurried to grab the boat as Peter resurfaced with the dwarf.
