As the five climbed the hill to the ruins at the top, Lenna lagged behind. Her eyes were downcast as she traced the path she walked upon. She couldn't shake off that horrible feeling and it was weighing down on her. Something had happened in Narnia while they were away. It was unnerving.

"Hey Lenna? You alright?"

Lenna looked up from the ground to see Lucy had fallen back beside her.

"Something doesn't feel right," Lenna told her. "I don't know what it is but something about Narnia feels different. I can't help thinking that it's my fault."

"I'm sure nothing that happened was your fault," Lucy reassured her. "When we find out where it is in Narnia that we are then we can try and find your father and Mr Tumnus and the Beavers. It will be alright."

Lucy took hold of Lenna's hand in a sisterly fashion and squeezed it tightly. Lenna smiled appreciatively at her but inside she was still doubting it. As soon as she stepped into Narnia, she couldn't feel anything.

Once the hill levelled out and they reached the ruins, the five stopped and looked at the scene before them.

The castle that had once stood here had clearly been magnificent in white stone. Trees had grown wild over the land and ivy submerged the still standing walls. Most was broken down and derelict but the walls that still stood were strong enough to hold the form of the once castle.

Lenna was the first to walk into the ruins. Her bare feet walked through the grass as she felt the dirt and broken rubble beneath her. Her heart was sinking at the sight of it. This had happened while they had gone. She had left and let this happen. All she could hope was that no one had been here when it fell.

"I don't understand," Peter said coming up beside her as the others walked around other parts of the castle. "How could a castle like this just fall? It's only been a year since we left has it not?"

"Time works differently in Narnia," Lenna reminded him. "Clearly it's been more than a year here."

She ran her hand over the stone, feeling the jagged and cracked edges under her fingertips. It was rough and crumbled under her soft touch.

"This is all my fault," she whispered.

"Lenna this is not your fault," Peter told her, taking her hand in his. "You couldn't have stopped this."

"But I could have, Peter! I could have stopped this by being here," Lenna's voice raised slightly as she stared at the derelict landscape before her, not looking at Peter.
