Erma and the ink Slenders

a family reunion

Erma and her parents went to her mothers home village to have their second family reunion, of course Erma was excited to meet her aunts, uncle and her grandfather again but not her cousins, while she was in the car next to Mitsu and Momo, she kept thinking of Slender "hey! are you gonna keep thinking of that nerdy boyfriend of yours?" Momo said and Erma looked at her annoyed.

Meanwhile at the throne room Erma's grandfather Osamu looks at an old picture of of his young self and his student "sighs*...I'm sorry but you made me have no other choice but to send you away" Osamu said talking to himself then the doors opened seeing Erma and her cousins "well welcome back kids" Osamu said smiling and Erma flies towards him and hugs him tight "hello father" Emiko said coming inside "hello Emiko and Samuel" "Sam is ok" Samuel said "of course now lets go gets some grub I am quite famished" Osamu said walking out of the throne room with Erma on his arm.

They had a family dinner and Emiko talked with her sisters and brother of things happening, while Erma eats she noticed how her grandpa has been off space and barely has touched his food.

When it became night Erma got ready for bed and since Osamu was near by she wanted him to tell her a story before she sleeps "very well...I once did told this story to my children, might as well re-tell it" Osamu seated on a chair next to Erma's bed but before Osamu started to tell her the story two of her annoying cousins came "hey no fair we want to hear it too!!" Momo said "Erma move over" Mitsu said and they both got on the bed and looked at Osamu. Osamu chuckled a bit and started telling the story "long ago before my children was born a small monster child born without innocence in him, ever since birth he grew up in an orphanage very different from other orphans, he was alone with no one to care for him but one thing did looked after him, it made him felt less alone, until a powerful beast came making them think someone was going to be adopted but in truth all the beast wanted was a student every children lined up but not everyone was in line the same child without innocence stayed behind next to a flower, the beast saw potential in side of him just by looking at him, when the beast came towards him the child thought he was getting adopted out of pity and got away from the beast but the beast wasn't giving him any pity as the child wanted so the beast explained he wanted a student that has potential and the child was the one that caught his eye, the child was confused because some of the orphans was taller and stronger then him but the beast didn't see potential in any of them, the child finally agrees of being a student to him and the beast adopted him as his student, when the beast got back to his home town with his student the child became more calm and happy of no humans around since the orphanage had humans and he was the only monster and by the beast guess his was bullied by the human orphans cause of his differences, when the student saw a small weak monster being attacked he went over and attacked the monster, the attacker then tried to attack the student but then he saw the student's master and ran away out of fear. When they made it to the beast's palace the student nearly dropped his jaw by the sight. The beast trained his student with different weapons but the student accidentally started to hurt himself with the weapons the master chose but then the student found a legendary scythe that was used to be held by the previous death, the student was connected with the scythe and was skilled with it. After training practice was done, the beast introduced his student to his wife and the student bowed respectfully to his master's wife, the master showed his student to a room he would be staying at but the student felt it was too much that he couldn't stay in such a palace but his master insisted after the day has pass it was the day of the night parade and the student smiled at the sight of the parade like he never smiled before but no matter how innocent the smile is the master doesn't sense innocence from his student. Few years past the student started to learn things his master gives him, then few days later the beast found an unconscious girl in a forest and brought her to the palace, after some time the girl finally woke up and the student started to spend some time with the girl since she was a ghost, that's what the master thought as well but she was very pale out of sickness, when the sickness was gone she was all human, the student angered by the sudden surprise but he still like her as a friend and protected her from any monsters that tries to eat or kill her and turns out she was a trained knight for a king that the student and master doesn't know. The beast started to treat his student as he was part of the family, the master was also thrilled when he heard the news of his wife being pregnant so was his student being happy for his master but the student only did a small smile since he doesn't smile that much anymore but the master knew the student was really happy for him. Some months later a human king came with some guards, the student was going to attack them but the master stopped him since the master was the one that invited the king, the student was confused of it but started to just went with it and goes to his friend but then he saw her laughing with the king's son, the student was a bit jealous at first but he does have to let his friend have a human friend as well, after some time of the student being with his friend, his feelings for the girl started to become stronger. The master thought of his student should be more then a student, but before he could even announced the news it was the day of a ring fight for monsters to test their powers and skills, the master, his wife and his student was on the most comfortable throne chairs to watch the fight, as the same comfortable throne chairs you children have seated on" Osamu said looking at Erma, Mitsu and Momo, Erma seemed to giggle a bit "even the student would agree of how comfortable they are when he first sat on the throne chair and looked more relaxed then ever" Osamu said closing his eyes chuckling at the memory "so what happened at the ring fight? I hope people played dirty on the fight" Momo said and Osamu smiled less for a second "there was even one of the rule that really seemed unfair and could of left our cucumber lover to his death" Osamu said and it left Erma, Mitsu and Momo in shock "wait the same Kappa that served us some cucumber stew?" Mitsu asked and Osamu nodded " the same one, he was young but wasn't afraid to try it but after his first fight he never want to even put even a toe on that ring circle" Osamu said "so what exactly happened in the story?" Momo asked and Osamu continues the story "when the student saw his friend she waved at him and he blushed a bit waving back at her, the master noticed it and the student looked away trying to not make eye contact with his master, during the fight the strongest monster was a monster called Angor (Angor would look a bit like Goro a bit but would have powers of giving people nightmares and also has four arms and this character is not gonna be in other chapters). Then when Angor fought off some competitions Kappa came but things definitely didn't look good he was knocked to the ground and Angor started to pull Kappas arm off slowly and painfully, when all hope was gonna be lost for Kappa we all thought he would of died and in the rules no one should call them out if they are not out of the ring but then the student couldn't take it anymore and punched Angor away from young Kappa and healed his arm, everyone was surprised at the student that no one has ever stood up to Angor, when Angor got up he was in his anger and wanted to kill the student a lot more than killing Kappa, the student was in front of Kappa protecting him but Angor laughed that the student was smaller than Angor and the student didn't even brought a weapon but his powers formed a scythe and told the young Kappa to go, even the girl was worried for the student and his master fearing he would get seriously hurt or worse but the master then realized what he trained his student for, the student has been trained over the years to fight, the student was in his ready stance and Angor charged at the student, the student did the same, Angor formed himself as dark nightmare fuel smoke, when the student went through him the student crashed to the ground slightly scratching his head and rocks hitting his side until the student just lays on his side and got up a bit but he couldn't stand as he holds onto the ground with his hands the master knew something was wrong, when ever someone goes through a nightmare fueled smoke they will see their nightmares but to the student it wasn't the case, when Angor started to insult the student, the student just started to laugh but the laugh started to sound like insanity and looked at Angor, what everyone wouldn't get to see the day of Angor's nightmare fueled smoke not work on a monster and seeing Angor a bit scared by the look of the student's eyes, the student walks towards Angor and picked up his scythe that he dropped during the crash and kept walking towards Angor as the student started to talk, Angor wanted him to stay back and away from him but as Angor tried to throw daggers at the student, the student swing his scythe and the daggers hit the other direction towards a wall, the student slammed Angor to the ground having his scythe on Angor's neck then he raised his scythe and sliced Angor in half killing him, everyone was surprised of what has happened but they clapped and cheered for the student but when the student got off of Angor's body he started to kneel down a bit holding onto his head as he was calming down. When the beast, his wife and the student was about to leave when the student felt a tug from his shirt, it was the young Kappa that wanted to say thanks to the student and wanted to be a helper to the palace to be around the student" " guess the student has Kappa being their number one fan" Mitsu said laughing a bit and Erma looked at Mitsu annoyed and Osamu chuckled "the master started to notice some strange signs from his student, the student seemed to be talking with someone every time he is in his room but when the master looked inside all he can see was his student talking to a flower, and it was the same flower that was next to his student from the orphanage. Kappa started to fully hang out with the student and he liked Kappa's company, Kappa was always scared of the student's other friend that is a human girl. Then when the master announced for the student to be his special kind of assistant he noticed his student was smiling about another reason, the master asked about it but the student pretended that he doesn't know what his master was talking about until the student gave in and told about his feelings for the human girl, the master supported his student's feelings towards a human and helped him plan it out of how his student can tell his feelings towards the girl, when everything was in order his student was so very happy that the master finally sensed the innocence in his student and by surprise to the master, his student hugged him without hesitation and the master hugged his student for the first time in years, when his student left to the blossom trees where he was gonna meet his crush, the master did some work on the papers while the servants cleaned the place but then the sound of two big doors being slammed by full force made the servants jump and the sound of stumping on the floor was his student and the master saw tears streaming down from his students eyes, when Kappa came to the student asking what was wrong the student surprisingly ignored him and slammed the door to his bedroom shut. The master waited for his student to come out but it took a few days of his student being in the bedroom until finally coming out but his student wasn't the same anymore the innocence that was inside the student was no more and his expressions was nothing but anger and almost emotionless, the student explained what has happened that the prince that was the kings son beat him to his crush and the girl saying yes being the princess to the prince and it broke the student's heart to pieces seeing it in front of him. One day the student invited the king and most of the kings subjects to a party but when the master came back to his palace, the beast opened a door and saw blood and carcasses on the ground and blood on the walls, the student's eyes was nothing but blood red, the next day the master confronted his student and tried to reason with him but there was no reasoning with a devilish monster, all the student ever says was that love was only making him weak and something else made him like that and it was his own choice to follow it, the master started to notice something was poisoning his student's mind, the master tried to help his student but the only thing he could do was to send his student away when he tried the first time the student dodged the spell and attacked his own master, when the student was about to kill him a strong air slash hit the student and made his back hit a stone wall and screamed in so much pain and blood came out of his moth, when the student got back up and his eyes was back normal and confusion was shown on his face but the master had to send him away for punishment, the master summoned white flames at his own student, as the flames was making him disappear the last expression that the student show was shocked, sadness, confusion, hurt and betrayed. Nine months later the beast's offsprings was born and wanted to be more protective of them so they don't share the same fate as his student" Osamu finishes telling the story "and that's the story" Osamu said and looked at Erma, Mitsu and Momo sleeping and he chuckled a bit and left the room to let them sleep. Osamu walked around the halls then stopped near a pot with a blood red flower "it is strange for you to not be welting over these years.

When the day of the Night Parade finally came Osamu looked at the sky "I hope you can see this where ever you are"

On a roof near Erma's family was a monster that has blood red pupils "oh you have no idea master" then it disappears without a trace.
