Sylvia's pov
After the day was over, I got to a cabin that I share with Amora and the inside wasn't all that bad, it actually looked comfy.

I got to the cabins restroom for privacy and got myself ready for bed. I got back out and saw Amora on one of the beds and I got to mine. I could barely even sleep even though the bed is very comfortable but I couldn't stop thinking about my first day of my embarrassment "tch ugh!" I checked my phone and only an hour had passed "hrm...stupid day" I put my arm down on my stomach and my other arm on the pillow over my head. I looked at the ceiling, I started to think....then I got up from my bed and put on my archery uniform.

I quietly headed outside to the field without anyone around. I practiced but I could never get it to the target "why am I so bad at this??" "you're shaking your hands too much" I looked behind me and saw the instructor/leader of the shadow archers, leaning on one of the lantern poles "how long were you there?" "long enough until you had to ask yourself, so why are you out here so late at night?" he said raising a non-visible eyebrow "trying not to die here from embarrassment on the next training" I said grumbling and he started to walk towards me "after from the first training, if you want my honesty I'd say it pretty much was a disaster for you" he said being emotionless "gee stop flattering me" I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes, I looked away from him, sat on one of the stone stairs and sighed.

This girl seemed a bit difficult with herself, not sure why I felt the need to help her again but I came over and sat next to her "why are you in this camp...you don't seem the type to be interested in archery" I said "my dad was the one that signed me up for this stupid camp, I can't even get just one arrow to the target" the girl said "I can help you" I suggested "oh please you're 'THE BEST' and I'm 'THE GARBAGE' how are you going to help me?" she asked "how about show me what you got and I'll see through it" I said "UGH!!!" she groans and gets up from the stairs as I follow.

I got back up and stared at the target. I grabbed an arrow and pulled back. My hands started to shake uncontrollably and I let go of the arrow and it misses the target itself AGAIN! "you're too focused on your nerves" he said and got his own bow and arrow. He pulled the arrow back, I paid close attention and he lets the arrow go and it hits the bullseye completely "see? nothing to it" he said as he looked back at me "phew ok, come on Sylvia" I grabbed another arrows and pulled it back. I stare at the target but my hands was starting to shake uncontrollable again "try to not pay attention to it. Be calm and focus" he said and I took a deep breath getting my hands to not shake so much. I let go of the arrow and it got to the target "YES FINALLY!!" I said and raised my bow to the air and do a little silly dance completely forgetting that the instructor was near by "oh um ahem thank you" I said.

The girl was doing a weird dance when she got her first target, I just looked at her as she danced and it felt like for the first time I....wanted to...smile, but cant. I still stayed emotionless and shook my head "oh um ahem thank you" she said, I just nodded my head towards her "so anyways I'm Sylvia and yours?" she asks "Slinderend, a pleasure" I introduced myself "same...shame we won't be a team, I thought I was going to the shadows but apparently not" she said. I started to walk away "hey! where are you going??" she yelled "I was the one that changed your team" I said giving her a side look "why did you do that??" she yelled again "...think of it as a thank you, have a good night" I said and continued to walk away.

I never thought he would be more weird, thanking me for what exactly? I questioned but I started to smile and went back to the cabin. I got out of my uniform and got back to bed smiling to myself of finally hitting the target and made a new friend.
