Sylvia's day 2

Sylvia's pov
I was getting myself ready with a smile on my face "SO Sylvia you sly dog~" Amora said leaning backwards towards me as she nearly floats "huh? what are you talking about?" I asked "come
on I saw you with him~" she said "stop fooling around Amora. Come on we are gonna be late" I said getting up and got out of the cabin.

Amora and I got to our team section waiting for the counselor "alright everyone, you should've had a good first day warm-up on your first day" the counselor said "so everyone has voted this morning for...hm lets see ah Ms.Sylvia to go first" the counselor said "oh so we are voting now?" I mumbled to myself. I started to go to the targets and heard two girls giggling uncontrollably next to the same girl that has streaks of blonde on her brown hair and dark skin like mine "phew ok just remember what he said, don't focus on your nerves Sylvia...breath" I closed my eyes and breath.

I pulled one of the arrows back on my bow and released it, I heard some gasps and looked at the arrow straight to the very middle of the target "yes!!!" I waved my bow in the air. I looked at the group behind me all applauding for me. I looked at Slinderend, he nodded towards me and I nodded back smiling at him.

Later on we had lunch, I sat at a table by myself until three girls came "Sylvia right?" one of them asked and it was one of the Shadows "um....yes?" I answered but the same girl just stares at me "leave us" she waves the two girls behind her away. They left and she took a seat in front of me "Emeralda, a pleasure to meet you" she took her hand out to me, I smiled and shook it "Sylvia, you did awesome at the first showing" I said "well I am a born archer as my family has for years" she bragged a bit and a giggled a bit "but thats not what I want to talk about....last night...I saw you with the instructor...and it seems he has been taking a liking towards you...are you two...into each other?" she asked and I nearly spit my juice "woah hold up girl...he and I just met...he was helping me get better at my aiming skills...since I know for sure that you thought I was complete garbage at aiming so he helped out, considering it was thanking me for something which is weird since I don't remember helping him on anything or even met him. I don't like him like that." I said telling her the full story and started to eat my sandwich.

Emeralda seemed to be relieved of this "well thats good...he and I used to date" she said and I nearly choked "wh-what?! you are being serious with me here??" I nearly screamed and she smiled while nodding "What happened!? Tell me the story gurl!" I squealed so much "when I first met him, it was two years ago I think...he was a newcomer but right when he was faced with targets, he got them all on bullseyes. He was more of an elite archer but not like the ones I have ever seen. I was scared of him at first by his appearance but I started to have a crush on him...well so did the other girls but I was strong enough to ask him out myself...he was still emotionless back then but he agreed that we date and hang out....but he just keeps going out mysteriously. I was worried that he was cheating on me so I broke up with him and.... he didn't care in the slightest not even an ounce of hesitation" Emeralda said and tears started to drop "hey hey, as you said...he was emotionless, he probably still didn't understand feelings and for him to be mysteriously disappearing pfft that could mean many things gurl! I mean have you seen him? He is as mysterious as a vampire" I said trying to state the facts "you're probably right...I should've talked to him more about these things before breaking up with him" Emeral said as she wipes her tears away "hopefully you can talk things out with him when you get the chance" I said being supportive "thank you Sylvia...this means a lot" she said "anytime" "SYLVIA!!" "oh got to go, my buddy is calling me, see ya!" I waves goodbye to Emeralda and she waved back while I ran towards Amora.

Shadow's
Emeralda kept on waving and smiling sweetly until Sylvia was far enough. Emeral drops her smile and stopped her crocodile tears "she is clearly lying!" one of her teammates said behind her "how can she not have a crush on him, he is almost as hot as a vampire!" one of them complained "I need you two to watch over her when she is alone with the instructor. She is not gonna be let off that easily" Emeral said and the two other girls nods.
