AUTHOR NOTE:

Got some fanmail last night and they asked about if I'd keep uploading and who the next chapters would be about and which ones were their favorites and why. I love that sort of feedback. Honestly, I do. But so, I began writing this instead of completing literally ANY of the chapters I've been working on. Lol!

Now, lemme briefly explain about the AU here. The UA Hero school is now a Yakuza style Gang with Aizawa Shota as the leader and the students as the ones following him. The League of Villains are now a Mercenary band. Stain is a cop. Chisaki Kai is a failed Doctor and his boss was his mentor. Make sense? Alrighty.

Miri Iyoske

The bindings were pulled tight, making her gasp but not say a word. Keeping her mouth shut, she felt him rest his mouth against the back of her shoulder. "I am sorry, Miri. I do find you stunning and charming. But I have a job to do." Earlier, while they were at dinner, he terrified her by using his Quirk on her. He had admitted to loving cats, she asked if he had any while sipping her wine, he told her to down it. And she felt compelled to do just that. She was confused and didn't want to question it. When the waiter offered to bring more, she went to say no, but Hitoshi told her to let him handle it and ordered her another glass. When the waiter left, she went to get up, but he told her to sit and her body obeyed. "Mm." Hitoshi hums against her skin. "Smart. It'd taken me a long time to get my Quirk down to the science it is now. I can control people from one response for several hours if I want. But it doesn't often come to that."

He stands finally and steps calmly around her to face her while she offers this displeased look to him. Makes him smile dryly.

"Shame I met you as a target. I think we'd have been good together." It takes a lot to keep her jaw shut. "Truly. I'm not saying that to get you again." Her eyes roll and he chuckles. "Smart, Miri. But they always talk after a while." He grabs a chair and pulls it to set it in front of hers. They're in a warehouse and there are several others their age milling about. Not quite paying attention, but definitely keeping an eye on things. "Now, I should warn you..." His finger wags at her while he crosses one leg over the other. "If you don't talk to me, Boss'll send someone far more violent. All we want is your money. You didn't even earn it. You inherited it. So just sign it on over and you're free to go."

Why would he ask that? Can't he make her talk? If she needs to respond, and he snared her before, why bring her here? Her head tilts aside a bit as her eyes narrow on him. He sighs and pushes a hand through his hair. "All that power and you can't force answers, huh?" She finally speaks.

He frowns a bit and nods. "Yep. Gotta be charming."

She watches him a moment. "You are. Send the rough one."

Surprise crosses his features as those nearest go still. "You won't survive."

She chuckles darkly. "Maybe."

"Don't make me do this, Miri. I like you."

She leans forwards, inhaling. "You heard me." Her heart is erratic and she's now feeling adrenaline coursing through her body. "I earned that fortune fair and square through blood and pain. You think a bunch of snivelling little spoilt shit stain thieves are gonna take it from me? Not a chance in hell, sweetheart."
