"Chemistry is you touching my mind, and it setting my body on fire" - Relebogile P.M
The Ferrari ride was as every bit as sexy, and sleek, as she had read from one of the car reviews that she had come across. Zachery Mendevil drove like a professional speed racer, his strong and sure knuckles gripped the steering wheel tightly and he quickly maneuvered the car with a practiced talent. His sexy and lean body highlighted every aspect of being tense.
Swallowing the lump that was lodged in her throat, she forced her eyes away from her husband's face. He had showed up in sexy, well-washed blue jeans that hugged his hips like a second skin; a red, V-neck t-shirt clung to his muscles so much so that Kassandrah had definitely resisted the urge to fan herself. She had to be careful, she should not be caught staring, no matter what.
"Penny for your thoughts?" his quiet, smooth voice spoke up.
Her head spun around so quickly that she feared her neck would snap off. He had spoken to her. Why? He had not even seemed the slightest bit interested in holding a simple conversation with her when he had arrived to get her. He had simply nodded at her and opened the door for her. Perfect gentleman, is he not? He had showed every ounce of anger and agitation at having been summoned to her aid. He probably saw her as some 'damsel in distress'.
"I doubt you would be able to afford." Kassandrah retorted sarcastically.
He really didn't need to bother talking to her as he had not bothered in the very first place.
"Clearly you do not know the size of my wallet, honey." A small smile was playing on his face.
Heavens, those sexy, and pouty, lips could turn a very spiritual woman into a virtual sinner. Kassandrah dragged her gaze away from his facial features; her husband, Zachery was too damn good looking for her own comfort. Single men who were so scrumptious delicious, either had a hidden agenda or they were covering something up. She sighed heavily. How could a man be so dangerously good looking, while women remained so alarmingly drab?
"Would you care to enlighten me?" she asked as she took in the streetlights and the colourful signs that marked shops as closed.
The scenery outside seemed far calmer and more safer than being in the same car as this... this very stranger. Goodness how could she have allowed herself to be tied down to such a gorgeous man when she, herself, had such tedious self-confidence issues?
Not only was she not on the skinny side but she had a very rigid bone structure which repulsed men, hence why she always her distance regarding the opposite sex.
"I own, just about half of, everything that you have set your eyes on. I am not showing off, so take this at face value." He said with a dead serious expression.
Kassandrah just could not believe the fact that she had drunkenly allowed herself to marry a rich and good looking mogul. Next to him, she probably looked like a pauper or perhaps a maid. The very trip to support her sister, if not attend her wedding, had seriously marred her reputation and messed up her life. First she had allowed herself to drink much more that she could really ever handle; second she had, in her drunken space, said her 'I Do' to a stranger and sold her soul to the devil himself.
"Princess, talk to me." Zachery Mendevil prompted her to talk now that he had told her that he had money.
"I think that it is just better if we drove in silence. I am not really a worthy companion." Kassandrah immediately wrapped her arms around herself, suddenly feeling cold.
