Jin

The smile that had grazed her lips a moment earlier slowly faded. She didn't blink at first, but when she did, her eyes filled with tears.

"No, I didn't...I-I meant to say that I like you. Tonya..." My words stumbled out, my hands tried reaching hers, but she took a step back. "Tonya...I don't expect anything from you...I just..." I looked at the ground between us. "I hadn't realized what I felt until I said it aloud. I'm sorry."

I love you

When I finally managed to look back up, I nearly broke.

She's crying...because of me..

"Jin," she managed to get out,"It's okay." Through her red eyes and runny nose, a face of serenity returned. "It's not your fault." She inched closer and held my face. "It's my fault. I'm so sorry, Jin." She brought her hands to my shoulders and rest her head on my chest. "You deserve better."

no no no..

I took her face and kissed her. A small press of the lips to let her to know that she was more than enough.

But she pulled back slowly.

"Jin," she sighed,"I'm going to go home now, okay. Get some rest." She smiled through her tears as she whispered something I couldn't understand. "Te quiero."
