Empty Love

Damn. 

I sluggishly went to my fridge to get a spoon I had put in there last night. I knew I would wake up with a puffy face. But on the bright side it was conveniently my day off from work. 

I turned the shower and began to undress. While I was in the shower, I slowly went through yesterday's events and picked them apart.

When did he start...liking me? My eyebrows creased in confusion. And who falls in love with a married woman! I shook my head, 'married'. I laughed.

Let's see...I've known him for about nine months, maybe ten. Our first meeting wasn't anything special, especially since I was still in love with my ex then, so I didn't pay much attention other men. God damnnn..I rubbed my temple in an attempt to remember when the hell Jin had started getting interested in me. 

drip...drip...drip...

I got out of the shower and began digging deeper into my memories. I also got out a notebook to write things down.

I would say the first time he caught my attention was the day after my husband left me. lol

When he approached me that day I was very surprised, I mean we hadn't exchanged more than a few words then, and I found it extremely shocking—and comforting—that he asked me if I was doing okay.

The day after my husband left me! It's as if he knew...but that's absurd.

Anyway, ever since he asked me that, I would find myself getting assigned to do him makeup more. He would often blush—but honestly I though that was because he was uncomfortable. And oh and how could I forget his unbreakable stares every single time I got close to his face. I laughed again. I remember thinking, GOSH can't he see that getting in his face is my literal job! But now that I look back I can't help but giggle.

sighhh 

"I'll think about it tomorrow." I just want to watch Netflix today.
