One Shot #2

It's just me today. Luke has bailed on me for the third time. I'm beginning to think he's cheating on me. When he comes home, I'm planning to talk about it with him. 

I first met Luke when he dropped his coffee on me. I was so pissed. I was even wearing my favorite shirt. It happened a few more times and I said we should start over. 

"Hi, I'm Michelle." I smiled.

"Hey there. I'm Luke." When I met him, he was wearing this weird pink shirt. Now all he wears is black. We've had a lot of memories together. I'm sad it's going to end soon. 

In the meantime, I'll just watch some TV. As I flip through the channels, I find my favorite movie, Beauty and the Beast. 

"Cheer up child, it'll turn out alright in the end." said Mrs. Potts. I smile. This movie has the best quotes ever. The movie continued and  ended. A new movie played and this time it was Brave. My mom loves this movie. Of course I do too...

I got a text from my swim team friend. 

hey bb how's it goin are u alright? want me to come over? 

umm i'm ok 

no ur not i can sense ur sadness over text i'll be there in 5 with some chips see u there xx 

Really Allison? But she's a great friend anyway.

"So later, I'm gonna breakup with him!" I said to Allison. She was practically crying by now. She thought we were the best couple ever. 

"N-no! When I met L-Lukel, I knew you two were perfect t-together." She said between sniffs. It was like her favorite YouTube ship refused to be together. 

"Fine. I won't break up with him. Just go home now he might be coming any minute." I lied. He wasn't going to be here until ten. That's two hours from now. 

"Ok... Good luck. See you at practice tomorrow." And there she left.

3rd POV 

"L-Luke? Can you come over here?" As soon as Luke heard 'Lukel', he knew something was up. Michelle would only call him that in the most serious of situations. It would be 'baby' or 'Lukey' whenever it was something less major moments. 

"What's wrong babe?" Michelle was starting to cry. 

"I w-wanted to talk to you." Luke came over to the couch.

"Sure. Anything baby." She sniffed because he said 'baby'. She knew she wasn't the only one. She looked deeply into his ocean blue eyes. Last time I'll ever see this bitch. She thought. 

"I really love you Luke. I really do. Do you love me?" Michelle asked.

"Y-Yeah I do... Are we breaking up?!" Luke asked worriedly. 

"I don't know. H-Have you been... cheating on me?" She asked. 

"What?! You think I'm cheating on you?! How absurd. What did that make you think that?"

"You're always looking through your phone and laughing, you've been bailing me out and ou never tell me why!" 

"Look, I decided to tell you this tomorrow but... my mom's in the hospital. She's been diagnosed with HIV and I've been visiting her almost everyday. I'm sorry if I made you feel that way. You're my one and only Michelle." 

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I really am. L-Lukey?" Michelle asked. 

"Yeah?" 

"I want to visit your mom."
