Sometimes Id like to feel something
The wind going through my body
The rain on my skin
The pain that goes through my veins like a rose between your fingers
Sometimes I do things that make me feel something
But often it comes at the most unnatural times
Like on a boats deck when you can feel the wind
Like its about to push you overboard
Or when the pain of a shot feels kinda good
Or when you're getting a tattoo done and you enjoy the feeling of it
I just want to feel awake when my eyes are open
I just want to feel alive when im on the brink of death
