Rudy made his way over too Aubrey's. They were going out for dinner to celebrate the album announcement. Rudy was also gonna ask her to be his girlfriend tonight. He really hoped he wasn't reading the situation wrong. That would be embarrassing.
When they were at dinner, they were both a nervous wreck. Rudy finally overcame his nerves and asked.
"Aubrey will you be my girlfriend?" He asked "I mean you asked me to be on your album there's no way this isn't ser-"
"Shut up of course I will," she said and leaned across the table to kiss him. "I just need to be up front with you about myself."
"What?" He asked, he was suddenly nervous but he wasn't sure there was much that could make him like her any less.
"I blew up online in the middle of my last relationship, meaning i never had the choice of announcing it to the world, everyone just knew. and i'm gonna be honest with you rudy, it really took a strain on the relationship. like a lot alec wasn't prepared at all and i've felt bad about it for years. he had to move away from california to escape the fame he didn't ask for. i just i don't want to tell the world right away, okay?" she told him. Rudy was quiet for a bit. "It has nothing to do with you, i'm so so proud to be yours and we can tell our friends but ju-."
"It's okay Aubrey, I understand," he said taking her hand.
