(Author's note - hey guys!!! It took me a long time to write this chapter so sorry about that. So yeah I know what's going on in your minds,'is she gonna write the author's note at the starting of the chapter only'. So guys no. As it took me a long time I am just gonna give you guys a short recap and continue from where we left. No more flashback through POVs. So your recap is right here -
In the last chapter- Jake proposed to Lilly which was actually a dream. He then took her to the terrace to show her the beautiful scene. Then he confessed to her, that he was thankful to Lilly for being with him. They hugged each other. Lilly told Jake that her pendant was lost, unfortunately. Jake consoled her that he'll gift her a better one, once they reach California. They went downstairs when suddenly they heard a knock on the door. Which scared them.
So that was all I think should be there in the recap. So shall I give you guys a spoiler????
Umm, no!! I won't, cause it's my policy to give you guys some suspense whenever I can. If you have noticed you may have seen that I do this a lot 😆😆
So yeah I've written a very big author's note now I'll stop and here goes your chapter)
Jake's POV - We were at the stairs when suddenly we heard a knock at the door. I turned to look at Lilly, she was also scared like me. The knock turned faster. I was praying to God 'don't let it be the house owner '. There was continuous banging now. While we both were completely frightened. I was now feeling my legs wobble. I was not even able to move. But somehow gathering some courage I asked Who's there??!! "Hey, buddy is that you??" What? Carl?? Oh, Carl is here! But to reassure I asked, "Carl is that you??" "Yess it's me, man!! Now open the door and take me in. We are annoyed with standing here "
Lilly's POV - Oh. My. God. Carl is here. That mean Ally and Troy are here too. I should go and open the door. Until I was thinking this Jake rushed to the door and opened the door. I didn't know how but after seeing Ally I ran towards her and hugged her first I leaned towards her when she was about to fall she leaned towards me. It felt a relief that my bestie is with me. And my friends are all safe. I can't express this in words. I parted from the hug and reached towards Troy to hug him. We hugged each other. The hug felt like forever. We parted from the hug. "At least offer some water to us Lilly" Carl added. "Oh yes... Come with me. " We were now sitting on the couch in the living room.

"By the way, how did you got here?? I mean how do you know that I and Jake both were here???" I asked interested. "Umm, actually thanks to you we could make it up here." Ally replied. "Thanks to me?? " "yeah. Your pendant fell in the way. We saw it and I remembered that this was given to you by Jake, therefore I estimated you might be here, in this direction. After heading towards the direction we found a house so I asked Carl to ask if you were there or the house owner may have seen you by chance. So he knocked and hopefully, you were there." She explained. "Wow, Ally I love you. You found it. Will you help me to wear it." I turned so that Ally was now able to see my back. She placed the pendant on my neck. I realised everyone looking at me and smiling, "is it looking good??" I asked. "It's looking gorgeous" Carl complimented. "Yeah despite the fact that Jake bought it for you, I liked it you look perfect in it" Troy commented. I got up from Ally and sat beside Troy. "So did you miss me??" I asked him. "Should I tell you honestly or should I lie to you" lie?? What's there to lie?? "Honestly!" "Ok. So I didn't just miss you but I remembered all the memories we had together. I thought I won't be able to see you anymore. I was really very worried" he said rubbing my cheek through the back of his hand. I smiled and said " you shouldn't have to. After all, I was with Jakey" I said sitting near Jake and placing one hand around his arm. "Yeah, that was the reason I was worried " "huh??!!" "Yeah, look it's alright that Jake is protective about you and I know that possibly if any danger arises he might also die, just to save you, and that was certainly a relief, but you know you guys are too close so possibilities are high that in my absence you can fall for him or he might fall for you, or even worse you will cheat on me. So that was a part where I was completely worried" "Oh please!! You think that??" Saying this I answered his explanation with rolled eyes. "Baby!! I know you won't do that! I am just kidding!! -" I didn't make eye contact with him as I was aware of the fact that his ocean blue eyes had that capability to melt my anger just in some seconds. But this time I was angry and I was not gonna buy that cute little eyes. But instead of persuading me, he went and sat near Jake." I was just kidding man! No offence." saying this He punched Jake's arm in their boyish style. "None taken." Jake smiled saying that. "But I am still angry," I said in a yearn that he would at least convince me. "I think this will work," he said suddenly pecking on my cheek. I was shocked, this was the first time he did that. I looked at him all shocked. He suddenly busted into laughter, while I blushed as I processed what just happened. And I stood up making my way to the kitchen so that no one could tease me, as I became a tomato after that kiss.
Carl's POV - Troy placed a short and sweet kiss on Lilly's cheeks. And she blushed right after a second. I turned my gaze towards Jake. I could see him in pain as he watched the kiss happened just now. And I didn't want to look at him anymore. Cause it makes me feel so awful that Jake is in pain, we've been through a lot, but together. so yeah, it hurts. I looked at Ally through the corner of my eyes. She gave a disgusted look immediately after what happened. Seriously, why is she like this, there's no need for these faces!! She could tell Lilly the truth,
(Author's note - Hey guys so here goes your chapter.
I know this one was boring. And I was bad at writing this one. But sorry it happened because I didn't write anything for several days, not even thought what should be there in the story. But as I didn't write this chapter well, I am gonna publish the next chapter in the next two days. And I will definitely try my best to make the next chapter a bit catchy. If you find any mistakes please let me know I will correct them.
So in the last chapter, many of you asked me if Lilly is gonna fall for Jake and if she falls for him will she cheat on Troy, or if she's thinking like that about Jake she's actually cheating on Troy. But guys she is not cheating on Troy or anything like that she just adored Jake's beauty for a while, nothing more than that okay. But at some point, I was happy that you guys are liking the story and thinking about Troy. It made me happy, genuinely.
