I look over to see where the voice is coming from, and I see a girl about Luca and I's age with red, curly hair, a blue beanie hat, a white and red striped shirt, and baggy jean pants. She's on what I am pretty sure is a bike with a wagon attached.

"Oh, look who's here, Spewlia." Ercole spits. He finally lets go of Luca, and I manage to squirm out of Ciccio and Guido's grip. "Wow, that's how you're training for the race?" I run over to Luca's side.

"Your reign of evil terror is coming to an end!" The Spewlia girl answered. Luca and I look at each other.

"You mean like a year ago?" Ercole says. "When you quit in the middle of the race? Because you couldn't stop throwing up?"

The girl glares back. "I didn't quit. They made me stop." They two are up in each other's faces.

"I think that is worse. Now, go away. I'm having fun with my new friends." Ercole and the girl look at us.

"They're coming with me. Hop on, I could use the extra weight." She says to us. Luca and I jump onto the back of the moving cart that is filled with fish.

"Fine. Go start a club. For losers!" Ercole yells at us. Luca and I look at eachother again when the girl starts talking.

"Sto imbecille thinks he can be a jerk 'cause he keeps winning the race which he shouldn't even get to do anymore 'cause he's too old and too much of a jerk!" Luca and I stare at her. "You know, we underdogs have to look out for each other, right?"

"What's under the dogs?" I ask. I have no clue what's happening right now to be honest.

"Underdogs. You know, kids who are different." She stopped the bike and we hop off. "Dressed weird," she says, looking at our outfits. Which I didn't think were that strange. "Or a little sweatier than average." She lifts up her arms and we can see that she is sweating. Alot.

"Uh . . ." Luca says.

"Too much? Too much." She says. "So, are you in town for the race? . . . The Portorosso Cup?" We both stay silent, having no clue what she's talking about. "Well . . . Good talk, I gotta deliver these. Always be training, you know?" We turn around and start walking in the opposite direction.

Suddenly Luca grabs my arm and leans over. "We should ask her about this Portorosso Cup race. That's how the loud scary human said he got his vespa." I shrug and we go back up to where we saw the girl go.

Luca pushes me forward. "Hey, uh, Spewlia?" I say. I don't actually know what her name is so . . .

"Giulia! My name is Giulia." She says sternly.

"Okay," I look at Luca and he nods at me. "When you race in a cup, what do you get?"

"Soldi," She holds out some small gold circle things. "Prize money."

"Oh," I say. She starts pedaling away.

"No, no! Keep going!" Luca grabs my arms and turns me towards Giulia.

"What, why?" I ask.

"Ask her about the prize money."

"But that stuff is useless."

"Maybe that becomes a vespa."

"How that become-"

"Just ask her!"

"Fine, fine, fine." I run up to Giulia. "Hello again."

"Ciao?" She says confusedly.

"Can we turn the money into something else? Something like . . ."
