As we went along I was getting more and more unsteady, and I saw that Obito noticed, because every time I looked down I slowed a little but when I looked back up I went faster to get back to speed and catch up. I was so wrapped up in the mission I hadn't seen that the others were staring to.

"Mika, you look sick, are you ok?" Rin asked.

"I'm fine, Rin." I replied.

Since we stopped for the night I haven't laid down to sleep. I sat in the field and watched the stars as the sky filled up with them... Why am I suddenly sick, and why did it have to be noticeable?

"Are you ok? I know you say your fine, but I don't believe you." Obito said sitting next to me in dewy grass.

"Ok, I'm not gonna lie... This morning I was dizzy when I woke up, and I've been feeling sick all day but, I didn't want to stay behind." I confessed.

"You should get some sleep then, Mika." I swear Obito is the only one who says my name in all or almost all the sentences he says, it drives me nuts, too.

"No, I'm fine, Obito. I'll be fine."

"No, you're not, Mikari." He did it again, but he sounded closer. I looked at him only to find his face not even an inch away. "You make me worry about you, and I know that I shouldn't have to worry. Being worried about you makes me feel like you need protection but, I know you don't need it, Mika." I don't know about you but I heard the word worry three times, and with our faces being so close I was getting butterflies in my stomach. "I love you, Mika."

"I love you too, Obito." He held me close and, I felt safe for once like nothing could hurt us or even get near us.
