Rose is repairing her outfit when General Legon rushes in on them.

"Girls, there has been an attack on the Alaskan border, and we have been assigned there to defend that area."

Rose felt the adrenaline rush.

"Finally, some action," said Fiona, a soldier.

Girls everywhere were pumping their fists and giving each other high fives.

Once they were there, Rose spotted Max in the crowd. He smiled at her; his eyes sparkled in the sun. She sighed, and Jade and Hannah heard her.

"You really like my brother don't you," said Jade with a smirk. The world stopped for a moment.

"He's your what," she croaked.

"My twin brother."

Rose felt sick inside. She wanted to run away. Why didn't he tell her this before?
"I-I didn't know."

Jade punched her arm. "Hey, it's alright to like my brother. Even though lots of girls flirt with him."

Jealousy filled Rose like an angry bull. She wanted to find out who those "others girls" were.

The army was preparing for battle, and Rose saw Max and fumed. Max smiled for a moment before he realized that she wasn't happy.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked. He looked around to see if anyone was eavesdropping. "Did you find out about my sister?" His face was masked with guilt.

Her anger lifted a little. "Yes..." Then she exploded with anger.
"YOU. NEVER. TOLD. ME. ABOUT. YOUR. ADMIRERS!" Her face was red, and Max took two steps back.

Then he got mad. "Is this what this is about." He shook his head. "I can't believe you." He walked away.

She had a very stupid look on her face. "Fine! Run away, I don't need you!"

He kept on walking. She threw a rock, and it hit him on the head, causing him to fall.

"Max, time to go back to your station," said General Legon. Max got up and rubbed his head.

"I thought you were different from other girls, but they're all the same."

Rose's anger vanished. She realized what she did wrong. She was about to call his name when the general said, "Girls, get ready for battle!"

Rose was glad she wasn't a drummergirl anymore. She marched beside her two best friends. The enemy army was again Russian, but this time they brought battleships with them. The general, who was on horseback, rose her sword.

"Ready..."

They all drew their guns.

"Aim..."

We got down on one knee as if we were proposing to someone.

"Fi-"

A random shot went off, and someone from the marines area screamed.

"Kosa kay?" General Legon asked in Cloudis.

"Kto strelyal?" The Russian general asked in Russian.

Soldiers from both sides run towards each other and start to fight.

Rose avoided a soldier who was coming at her with a knife. Then a soldier knocked her down and was on top of her.

"Your day has come my friend," he said in a thick accent.

She looked up at him, her eyes begging him not to stab her to death. The soldier came with the knife; Rose closed her eyes ready for death until Max ran up and tried to grab the knife out of his hand. The man was fighting for control, and his knife went into Max's side. A little cry escaped from his lips as he fell to the ground. Rose screamed and grabbed the man's knife, and she forced his hand to stab himself. The man gasped and died. She crawled over to Max.

"Max," she called. He groaned in response. Relieve flooded her body.

"We'll get you help alright?"

He slightly opened his eyes and smiled weakly.

The medical crew lifted Max on a stretcher and carried him away.
Rose sat there worrying about him, and why he took a stabbing for her. Whatever was going through his head at that moment really saved her tail. But why did he save her even though she threw a rock at him? She felt guilty. The only way she could find out is that she asks him.
