Prologue

Brooklyn wished she could tell people her mother was a superhero but if she did, her family would be in great danger. She didn't know if she herself had powers, she wished she could be like her mum. A famous superhero.
It all changed at the beach when Brooklyn got angry. Brooklyn looked like her mum with light red hair and blue eyes. Ivan refused to get ice-cream for her and she got really mad. Her hair became dark red and her eyes turned red. She levitated in the air and her hands produced fire.
        Baby be calm, Bailey said to her daughter. Brooklyn refused, she was now excited because she was just like her mum with powers. She blasted the water and fell on the ground. Her eyes and hair became normal and a smile was on her face.
       I can't believe it mum. I'm finally like you, she said as she jumped up and down. Ivan and Bailey were quiet. They didn't understand how she got powers when there was no magical space rock. She had to go to Rivera High.
