Quinn & Logan Behind Closed Doors -ZOEY 101

Chapter 5 - The Concert

QUINN'S POV:

Right this is it! I head backstage with Zoey and Lola, who look amazing, and I try to prep myself up. I have a little peak through the curtain to see if I can spot Logan, but I can't.
I guess he doesn't want to come after what happened...
"Are you ready Quinn?" Zoey asks
"I think so" I nervously say.
We get handed our mics and the lights change. I guess this means we are going on...

"Now ladies and gentlemen we have a special performance from 3 of the lovely ladies at PCA! Zoey, Lola and Quinn!" The head teacher says to introduce us.
"It's time" Zoey says.
"Good luck ladies" Lola says beaming with excitement.

The curtain opens and everyone cheers. I'm so scared that I feel like I'm going to be sick. We walk towards the mic stands and I look at the crowd in fear, there are so many people! I take another scan of the audience and in the left hand corner I see him! Logan! He is in a blue suit and holding a drink. I look and him and he looks at me, I don't know if I should smile, wave or just look away?
"Hi guys! Our song is going to be a lovely slow jam, so grab someone you love and have a dance with them. I don't care if it's your partner, your family members or just your best friends, just grab someone you care about and dance." Zoey says to the audience.
I know someone I love and want to dance with, but I can't...
We watch as everyone grabs a partner, but I look over to Logan and he is all alone...
The music starts to play and I'm the first one to sing.

"We keep behind closed doors, every time I see you I die a little more." As I'm singing this line I look over to Logan who is still just standing there alone. I continue to sing and I can feel a lump in my throat and my vision is starting to get blurry because of my tears. Then the chorus comes...
"Why can't I hold you in the street? Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor? I wish that it could be like that. Why can't it be like that? Because I'm yours! Why can't I say that I'm in love? I want to shout it from the roof tops! I wish that it could be like that. Why can't it be like that? Because I'm yours!!" The entire time I sung that chorus I could see Logan looking straight at me with them big brown eyes.
My parts were over, so now I could relax and just listen to Zoey and Lola sing. I was happy my parts were over because I don't think I could of done it for much longer. I feel like I could just burst into tears, but I stay brave and just look straight ahead of me.

Then in the corner of my eyes I see Mandy Simmons (Make out Mandy) walking over to Logan! I turn my head slightly so I can see what's happening, I can't hear anything but it looks like she is asking him to dance... I see him shake his head at her and then sips his drink, she walks away looking pretty angry. Why did he reject her? He has liked her before?
Then Carrie Franklin walks over to him! Carrie is one of the hottest girls are PCA, so he is bound to dance with her.
Nope. He does the same thing as before. He shakes his head and she walks away looking upset... Is he rejecting them because of me?
