Chapter 20 - It's like Fire

LOGAN'S POV:

I sneak out of my class to find the science class that Quinn should be in. I look through the small window in the door and see her sat there writing things down in her note book. I keep trying to get her attention, but it was hard because I didn't want the teacher to see me.
Lola looks up and sees me so I point to Quinn. I can see Lola poke Quinn and points to me in the door discreetly. Quinn looks at me and gestures me to go away... I gesture her to come out and I mouth "please" I see her raise her hand and speak to the teacher and then getting up. Thank god she is letting me speak to her.
I quickly go round the corner so we aren't in view of the teacher.

"What do you want Logan?" She snaps
"I need to talk to you about us"
"There is no "us" anymore because you have Make out Mandy"
"No! That wasn't anything! It was just me being stupid!"
"I don't care how stupid you are, you still did it and I'm done."
"Please Quinn..."
"You clearly never cared about me because you went on a date with someone else straight away. You never loved me, you just loved the chase and the fact you can get any girl. Doesn't matter if the girl is dumb, beautiful, clever, hot, blonde, brunette or whatever, YOU just wanted to prove you can get anyone!"
She starts to cry and I try to console her but she pushed me away.
"Quinn! Please let me explain because it's nothing like that at all! I love you"
"No! We are done here. I'm going back to learn about the periodic table"
"Let me talk please!"
"Go talk to your new girlfriend"
She walks back into her classroom wiping her eyes and taking a deep breath before going back in.

LUNCH TIME

I try to search for Quinn all lunch and I can't find her at all. I see Zoey and Lola sat at a table so I run over.
"Hey have you guys seen Quinn anywhere?" I ask
"No why?" Zoey asks
"Ummm... I need her to help me with my homework" I say as a random excuse so Zoey doesn't get suspicious.
"Is that really the reason you went to find Quinn?" Lola says as she raises her eyebrow at me and stares straight into my eyes.
"Yes. Why would there be another reason" I respond giving her an angry look.
"I haven't seen her since science. I text her earlier and she replied saying she didn't feel well" Zoey says.
"Right. Thanks" I say as I run off to her room.
I did try her room earlier, but she didn't answer.

I get to her room and knock on the door.
"Quinn I know you are in there" I shout through the door.
"I'm not feeling very well, so leave" she shouts back.
"Quinn! Open the door or I may have to break it down" I say as a bit of a joke.
She doesn't respond. "I'm staying here and making an annoying noise until you open this door!" I say.
She still doesn't respond.
"Right! Here is the noise! "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKK EEEEEEEEEEK"
Suddenly the door opens.
"Stop" She says.
"Sorry" I reply.
"What do you want?"
"Let me in and I will explain"
"Uggg fine! I can't be bothered with this anymore, so tell me what you have to say and then leave" she says as she sits on the bed.
"So... you know how opposites can attract and you know that we are opposites. Well I think we are meant to be together and yes we keep messing everything up, mainly me, but I honestly have never felt like this before."
She doesn't say anything and just looks at me, so I continue.
"I seriously think we were meant to be together, just look at how we started! We hated each other and then we randomly kissed. To me we've always had something because you don't go from hate to a random kiss! It's clearly been inside us all along and when we are together it's like fire. Look how far we have come, you were with Mark for 2 years and you never did half of the stuff you and I have done."
She still stays quiet, but her eyes are starting to water.
"What can I do to make this work? What can we do? Because I can't leave it like this"
She just shrugs.
"Right that's it! You want proof? Fine." I say as I get up and quickly walk out of the room. I can see she looks confused as fuck and quickly follows me.
"Logan what are you doing?" She shouts down the corridor.
"Proving something" I shout back.
I get outside in the area where everyone eats their lunch and hangs out. There is a lot of people here... I wait until Quinn catches up and as soon as I see her I will continue.
"Logan!" She says as she runs around the corner.
I stand on a table "EVERYONE!" I shout. Everyone turns their head to look at me.
"What are you doing?" Quinn says to me.
"I'M IN LOVE WITH QUINN!"
Everyone just gasps and Quinn looks at me shocked.
"What? You love Quinn" One of the guys from the football team says.
"YES I DO! I've been hiding it for so long and now I'm done!
