Your eyelids began to feel heavy once more, you closed your eyes and relaxed yourself in a corner of your bed. You always felt really tired after, what The Auditor has deemed 'feeding times', how twisted does someone have to make this seem so mundane?

Just as you were getting comfy you hear the lock rattle on the door before it being cracked open.
"Just leave me alone Audi...I just want some alone time." You groan and open one eye, no one was there.

"Has he been treating you like this all this time?"

"I know that voice...Hank?!" You quickly turn your attention to the door, where Hank's face was now visible, you happily jump out of bed and swing open the door to which Hank quickly engulfed you into a tight hug. You squeeze him back and shakily take a breath, relishing his touch.
"Oh how much I've missed you..." Hank kissed the corner of your lips and sighed, running his gloved fingers through your hair.
"Lets go home Y/n, Sanford's waiting outside for us." He whispered in your ear, even now, his voice makes shivers go down your spine.
"...As much as I want to, I can't." Hank's back straightened and his breath hitched.
"Wait why not? Don't you wanna come home?" He held onto your shoulders with a wavering grip, the look in his eyes so confused, it was heart wrenching.
"Listen, I'm not...I'm not human anymore, he's made me into something else. If I go with you I'll only cause you trouble." Pushing his hands off of you, you hold back your tears and weakly point to the door, not daring to look him in the eye.
"What do you mean? I don't care about that I just want you back!" Hank turns your head back to him and clenched his spare hand, god seeing him in this state almost makes you want to force him out.
"You don't get it, YOU'RE NOT SAFE WITH ME. I want to go back with you, so much...but if the Auditor is just going to bring me back here then no. Just go...please." Hank turns your head back to him and traps you in his arms.
"Not without you, I'm sorry." He takes something out of his pocket, hitting you on the side of his head, knocking you unconscious.

"You actually hit her unconscious? So brutal..."

"She was speaking nonsense, saying that she wasn't human."

"Well, with the Auditors plan and all I wouldn't completely dismiss the idea." You open your eyes to Sanford and Hank talking to the right of you, something warm and rough covering you, Hank's jacket. You sit up, holding your head in your hands and look over to the kitchen where they were still conversing.
"She's up. SHE'S UP!!" Sanford catches you out of the corner of his eye and runs over to you, jumping on top of you and hugging you crying with joy, even if you were gone for almost 2 months he was a bit overzealous.

"Sanford...SANFORD GET OFF~!!" You laugh and push him off onto the floor, Hank walking over to you both.
"Are you okay?" Hank took your hand, bringing you close to his chest. Sanford brushes himself off and crosses his arms in frustration, walking away, not being able to watch you and Hank.

"Come with me Y/n, I want to bring you somewhere." Hank takes a small plastic round thing in his hand and opens the door, with you following behind him.

Hank walks you over to a small round open area, only about a 12 feet diameter.. There was a small outlet connected to a building nearby which he plugged in the round ball, which turned out to be a radio, and turns it on. He takes your hand once more and brings you closer to his chest. Was he proposing a dance?
"Where'd you get this charm all of a sudden~?" You smirk as you both begin moving in tune with the music, Hank held onto your hand and spun you around as music swirled around you both sharing your real dance, which made you both radiate loads of heat. Beads of sweat flew off of your forehead as the fairy lights draped around light posts focused all of the attention on just you both, this moment couldn't get any better. Hank dipped you down, hand supporting your waist and fingers intertwined as the radio's music came to an end, panting only being heard. Hank just stared at you with his chocolate eyes, his face threatening to expose blush, he pulled you back up and pressed his lips against yours reluctantly. Your eyes widened in shock but quickly you fell into his rhythm, you slicked your arms around his neck and press him closer, not paying any attention to the world around you. Hank intertwined his gloved fingers in your hair and sighed, releasing himself from you and looking into your eyes again. Did his eyes always have that certain glimmer in them, or was it the fairy lights?
"Hank...why this all of a sudden?" His hand squeezed around yours and another sigh escapes his lips.
"You never got out before, not with me." A strong peach colored blush creeps onto Hank's cheeks, also causing you to get a blush.
"I meant what I said earlier, I'm not human anymore Hank." He snaps to look you in the eye again with a straightened back.
"How so?"

"I can't sleep, I can barely eat, exposure to extreme temperatures don't faze me. And that's not even he worst of it. The Auditor's blood, changed me..." You feel the tears gloss over your pupils, filling your eyes and messing with your vision. Hank softly gasps and cupped your face in his hands, trying his best at a sincere smile.
"I don't care about that, I love you no matter how human you are." He embraced you into a gentle hug, rubbing your back, which made your tears spill out, all of your fear and pain bottled up now flooding out. You grasp into his clothes and cry into his shoulder, your legs beginning to feel weak. Hank kisses your temple and runs his fingers through your hair, comforting you to the best of your abilities.

"C-can...Can we g-go home now...?" Your wavering voice speaks muffled as you try and support yourself using Hank.
"Yes, let's go home, my love."
