ʜᴀɴᴋ ᴊ ᴡɪᴍʙʟᴇᴛᴏɴ, ᴀ ᴍʏsᴛᴇʀʏ ᴛᴏ ᴍᴇ

Scrapped

Here I place ideas that I heavily considered adding into this story, but eventually scrapped sooner or later, along with the reasons why. The reason why I did this? I don't really know.

☆|Early on, Sanford was going to have a heavy crush on Y/n, and was going to be jealous and even maybe sabotage Hank's chances to talk with Y/n.

You can still read the early development of this when before Sanford gives Y/n clothes to sleep in for the first night he's looking her up and down. And again in Relief where Sanford and Y/n have the cool epic backstory talk, to which Hank comes out to find them holding hands. I decided against it, because I really didn't want an inner conflict this early on, since I had already started to think about Y/n getting taken hostage by the Auditor in some way. In the later chapters when Sanford's described as "his cheeks flushed" or "burning cheeks" I meant like- when your frustrated or embarrassed, that kind of blush

☆|The Auditor was supposed to brainwash Y/n

When they're in the room where Y/n was staying at with everyone tied up, the Auditor says, "You love me, don't you?"

And of course, after that Y/n complies, to which I thought I was going to write a plot point where Hank has to confess his love to Y/n with his words and a kiss to break that 'spell'

But as none of you know, on my old account by the name of unsurprisingly, DumbEggy_1, I have a "The Promised Neverland" book about a quote-unquote super agent child hiding from the rest of the children. She gets taken in by the people running the show and then brainwashed, with Ray (the love interest) triggering a powerful emotion in the protagonist in order to break said brainwashing.

I didn't wanna reuse that plot point because at the time, this was my 3rd ever book I had written and actively published.

(BTW if you know that anime you should totally read that book because even though it's old it still holds up ngl)

☆| Alternate ending

I was fucking torn between how to end this book, since the Special Chapter~☆, was just that. A special fluff chapter to please my soul.

A VERY rough idea for the ending was to kill either the Auditor, Hank, Y/n, 2, or all 3 of them. The idea that got the furthest along was making the Auditor win. The trio go back to destroy the file on Operation :RE:AU: and once again get caught by the Auditor, who decided that enough was enough and fought them....they lose.

The other front runner was killing of the Auditor, by the good ole' betrayal tactic.

Y/n would agree to be the Auditors mate, in exchange that he gives up his immortality that I totally just would've made up. He agrees and does as promised, after doing so transferring it to Y/n then having Hank kill him from behind. So that idea kind of transfered over to the ending, but yeah, afterwards Y/n would have to come to terms that she'd have to see Hank and Sanford die...

...w that whole immortality thing....yippee

☆|Killing off Y/n

Now I know that kinda ties into the previous idea, because that indeed would cause an alternate ending, but let me have my fun. The mold at the bottom of my idea barrel is few and far between so I'm picking at nonexistent strings here.

The original explanation for Operation :RE:AU: was that the Auditor's blood wasn't going to do anything until the receiver agreed to be his partner, and I'm pretty sure it still says that....💀

But technically you could say that Y/n saying "I'm sorry for deceiving you but it was the only way I could get my to my loved one." Is her "agreeing" that she was his mate but again, pulling nonexistent strings.

Back on track- Y/n would've seen there was no other option, as she didn't want the chances of Hank being killed because of her, and agreed on Auditor's terms. To which he would activate the blood inside of her, but oopsies, it goes south.

Because of course he had never tested it before.

The blood stayed in her system too long and bonded too strongly with her already existing blood cells, so when the Auditor's blood cells explode and expand to the other cells....there are no other cells. Causing something spooky to happen and her blood to heat up and pressurize inside of her. Ouchie, she burns to death because magic and I said so.

Once Hank found this out, because she went off on her own no way would Hank agree to this, he would go fucking Apeshit. Killing everything in his way, including Sanford, on his way to the A.A.H.W building. He finds the Auditor looming over the goop of his beloved and tries to kill him, putting up a good fight before eventually killing the Auditor and coming to his senses. Now, with absolutely no one and the government already on its way at the red flag of fucking mass genocide Somewhere in Nevada. Um...Hank goes bye bye too...

So yeah...didn't really wanna end it like this, cool in thought tho

I'll eventually add more to this when I can remember my old ideas, toodles my lovelies
