We're Not Perfect But We Try...

Hey you guys! I know this is like 2 months after I said I would post more, but finally, here is the rest! I would have uploaded sooner, but I kinda got the laptop taken away... I probably won't upload for a while, but the next chapter should be up about next week or maybe even sooner!

Kyle reached into his pocket and pulled out...

"Oh my gosh!" I felt tears threatening my eyes as, Kyle got down on one knee.

"Leigh, I have no Idea what you want to do for the rest of your life, but I'm positive I want to be standing next to you from now, until the day I die." then a tear rolled down his face. I smiled and just nodded, not being able to speak. A huge smile spread across his face. He put the ring on my finger and rose, I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him.

"You know how some people say that they believe in soul mates?" I asked looking at him. He shook his head as in saying no.

"Oh, well I believe I just found mine." I kissed him on the lips and then smiled. He seems so perfect.

*2 months later*

Zoe finally got to come home last week, and her recovery was actually pretty fast. So far everything is working out. Me and Kyle have had a few fights, but we were able to work them out. We really are trying to be the perfect family, but what family is ever perfect? Exactly, none!

I'm sitting in the nursery with my now 3 month old baby girl in my arms, when she sleeps, I swear I can see Kyle in her features. Instead of going to school, Payton brings school to me. She grabs all of my homework and then hands it in for me and everything like that. I unfortunately am going back to school in three days.

"Leigh, could you please come downstairs!" My uncle Hugh yelled. Zoe's eyes shot open and she started to cry.

"Shh, no don't cry baby girl!" I said getting up and rocking back and forth. She calmed down after about 10 minutes and I went downstairs with her. I went straight to the fridge and grabbed one of her bottles that was already filled. I put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, wrist tested it, and then gave it to her.

I turned around and there was Kenzie. I smiled at her, but she didn't smile back. I frowned and walked up to her.

"What's wrong Kenz?" I asked looking her in the eyes.

"Mom's been drinking a lot lately, and I don't want to be around when she decides to start hitting." Kenzie said looking away. I moved Zoe to my right arm and put my left arm around my little sister.

"Everything's going to be ok! But I have to get going to church, want to come with?" I asked starting to walk towards, Zoe's carseat. I looked back at, Kenzie and she already had her jacket on, I laughed and finished getting Zoe in her seat then I got all my stuff on. Grabbed Zoe's baby bag, and my purse and keys, then we were out the door.
