I take a breather seeing that everything is all set for the main event that's in a few hours. It's been a very hectic day consisting of everyone running around. I myself have been helping the staff with setting everything up.
"Nervous?," Lysa utters as she stands near me.
"No, why would I be?," I question confusedly. I watch as Lysa's obsidian black eyes gives me the most distasteful glare she didn't even bother on hiding. I say nothing at all being someone that doesn't like confrontation. So I just stay silent removing myself from her presence.
"I just assumed considering you're not from this type of class," she says. I come to a quick halt, but continue on despite how her remark made me feel.

-We're currently in line waiting for the doors to open. Ozulla assigned each of us our roles for tonight. I was assigned to cater cheese to the guests, which I'm pretty fine with. Catering drinks is much more hectic in my opinion. The doors creak open as guests start swarming in excitement plastered onto their faces. This empire is very into art, so it makes sense.
As I walk offering cheese to guests I see news reporters, business wolf and she-wolves, models, and people of all ages. This event is truly a big one.
"What a night so far," Nehemiah utters from behind me as I turn my heel to face him. This entire day has been super busy and we haven't had the chance to even greet one another as we tend to always do when working the same shifts.
"Agreed. My legs are so tired," I say taking a breather.
"Hey at least you're getting in that workout," he smiles causing a smile on me.
"Very true," I say.
"You sure like charity work do you? Always talking to the ugly she-wolves," a familiar voice speaks into existence. I look at Lysa who's rolling her eyes at me with two other she-wolves behind her glaring at me.
"What's your problem?," Nehemiah annoyedly questions as I stay silent questioning my appearance.
"Ladies and gentlemen to the main room now," Ozulla announces as she walks by us powering walking towards the main room. We all start following behind her as Lysa goes out of her way to shoulder bump me as she walks ahead of me.
Stepping inside the main room there's even more beautiful paintings. I can tell these are more recent as dates are established by each painting. I see one particular painting that catches my eye. In this painting stands a she-wolf with her back turned. She's has light brown hair. In the background there's a sky that is gloomy. The painting seems a bit mysterious as well as depressing in a way.
"When is the alpha making his appearance?," a suited wolf utters breaking my attention from the painting.
"He's at a alpha union. He will be here soon. In the meantime, let's take a look at his most recent paintings," another suited wolf responds. As the show continues we also continue to cater to guests.
