As I sit on the leather couch waiting for the social worker to arrive. I can't help, but think about the unusual dreams I've been dealing with for an entire year now. It's always the same dreams nothing new.

I'm swimming then I decide to hold my breathe to go underwater when suddenly I open my eyes staring at what seems like a wolf

I'm swimming then I decide to hold my breathe to go underwater when suddenly I open my eyes staring at what seems like a wolf. He's muscular, but that's all I'm able to see. The farthest I've seen is up to his lips and nothing more. I'm tempted to see his face, which I never try to only remaining frozen to the spot. I have no clue if his individual is even looking at me or aware that I'm there. I get a weird sensation as if I'm the one looking at him rather then him looking at me.

I've explained this very same dream to Akila the social worker that has been handling my case since I can remember. Just like myself she has no clue what my dream is besides just brushing it off as just a dream and nothing more. However, I always feel that there's more to this figure every time I dream.

"I apologize for my late arrival Ariah," Akila utters as she opens the door walking into the room with a folder in her hands.

"It's okay," I respond not really having an interest in this meeting. It's always to just assess me and send me of to my daily life in this facility. Not much ever comes from any of the social workers here.

"I have some great news," she announces, which instantly grabs my attention. This is new I've never been told of any good news before. What could it possibly be? I guess I'll just have to ask to find out.

"Great news?," I question.

"In a week you will officially hit the age where you're able to participate in your graduation commencement, which will also be a day of the job fair for the graduates," she explains as she takes a seat displaying the folder in front of me.

I've heard of these events before from the older she-wolves that have come of age to transition out of the orphanage. It's something most she-wolves here look forward to wanting to no longer be locked away from society while others are too afraid to leave since this is all they've ever known. Zuleyma and I always dreamed about graduating together and finding a place of our own in the world to start our lives truly, but sadly the outcome turned out different for the both of us.

"What do I need to do for the job fair?," I ask.

"Good question, all you need to do is write a speech to read out loud for the employers to hear. Talk about your skills, talents, interests, and goals. Sell yourself," she says excitedly. This is the time the orphanage takes advantage to promote their facility to potential donors or sponsors. If only the people out there knew the reality of what happens behind closed doors.

I don't say a word only nodding wanting to get this meeting over with. At least I walk out of here with something to look forward to unlike a million times I walked in here with no hope towards anything.
