Today is the day I'm released from the orphanage that has been my home my entire life. I would be lying I were to say I wasn't scared. This place is all I've ever known hardly ever having any interaction with the outside world. I make my way to Akila's office to pick up some paperwork. As I walk the younger she-wolves all stare probably wishing they were in my position. That's how it was for me constantly every year seeing the older she-wolves before me leave. Once at the destination, I knock lightly on the door hearing Akila give me permission to enter.

Opening the door I see none other than Josefa standing firmly besides Akila. Unlike a smiling Akila, Josefa has the blankest standoff expression I've ever seen on her. Josefa isn't one to care about orphans, so this doesn't particularly surprise me. In all truth, she's probably happy that I'm leaving considering all I know. To be honest, the feeling is mutual.

"We just want to congratulate you on the job and wish you the best of luck with everything," Akila sincerely says as she extends her hand out to shake mine.

"Thanks," I simply say shaking her hand in return wanting to get out of this awkward office that will be my last ever being in. Akila smiles at me then at Josefa noticing her silence with no intent to say a word to me. Akila clears her throat forcing Josefa to look at her. Akila silently gestures for her to say something, which I'm sure Josefa internally wants to choke her to death for forcing her to do so.

"May the Moon be with you," she blankly says as she forces a small smile towards my way. I nod forcing a smile as well.

"Alright, let's get you going. Here's all you will need to know to get you started. Bye Ariah," Akila briefly says as she hands me a khaki folder, which I grab. Turning around I'm escorted to the front of the building. A place that has been so foreign to me after all this time. Nerves swirl within me with each step. Everything is silent too silent in matter of fact. I can hear every sound of my breathe, footsteps, and the keys that the guard has of this place. Coming to a halt, I watch in slow motion as the guard grabs his keys exploring through the ring of various keys until he hits the one that held my freedom all these years. The one that will release me into the real world.

I watch as the key is inserted into the keyhole then the click that soon is activated when the guard turns the key to the left. He then twists the doorknob opening the door letting the fresh breeze from outside rush inside. The cool, yet warm breeze touches my flesh as it travels through my nostrils making this moment feel more real. Inhaling a deep breathe then exhaling it. I take steps outside as the guard closes the door behind me.

Immediately, I'm greeted by the most beautiful white flower tree that who would of known would be planted near the orphanage. I go ahead to touch and as it looks it's so soft and delicate. The sun shines brightly down upon me as the clear baby blue sky compliments the clouds passing by. Spring time has always been something I've had great pleasure in even when most of my time was spent behind walls. I open up the folder seeing a sheet of paper with Artistry De Arte bolded onto it. Beneath is a chart of a weekly schedule with dates and times on it. Immediately, I know this is my work schedule as it says my name on the chart. On today's date I see is the grand opening, which starts at 6 in the evening.
