C A Z H V Y R E

I STARE AT HIM WITH MY USUAL EXPRESSIONLESS FACE but I tried to manage to emit some warm energy as he approaches me. He just really need to do this as fast as possible. Can't he even just treat me like he normally does?

"Miss Ravens! It is so pleasing to see you again. I hope that our meeting yesterday helped you a lot." Professor Slughorn immediately approaches me the moment we started doing our Amortentia potion with our partner which in this activity Remus partnered with me that made James pout like a kid. He doesn't have a say when it comes to Remus especially after a full moon and just sits next to Sirius.

Can you believe that Slughorn actually let us pick our partner for this one? I know for a fact that he's the type who pairs students on his own.

"It helped me a lot, Professor." I simply said in a polite manner that made his eyes shimmer in delight. He really won't let go of that one encounter. Dear Godric.

"Well, you are always welcome to discuss things with me again. I would gladly help one of my most admirable and top students in the class." He said as he checked our cauldron. I nod politely at that and did not even bother to reply verbally, quite scares that it might start another conversation with him. He smiles widely as he noticed that everything was perfect and calculated well.

It is a team-up with Remus so it can never be bad.

"Brilliant! Wonderfully done, both of you. A perfect score!" He jotted down our scores and compliment us more which I found weird. I guess he wants to get on my good side but he was never really there, to begin with. Well, best of luck to him.

"Now, tell me what are the things that you smell when you inhale the potion." I was a bit surprised. I thought he would just make us do it. I didn't know we also have to showcase its effect. But then again, to clearly know if it's really perfectly done, it needs to work.

Remus and I look at each other before taking a sniff at the potion.

"I smell chocolate, old books, and pine?" Remus asked questionably as he sniffs the last part. I guess he did not see the 'pine' coming. But it also looks like he left out one more thing that he smelt. I'm guessing it has a connection with pine that made him think of only one person or so.

Slughorn looks at me expectantly. Here goes nothing. "I smell chocolate," I said that made Remus look at me as well as the others around us which include James, Sirius, and Peter. But then again, we all already know how crazy I am with chocolates too.

"Grass...grass field," The others immediately ponder on that as they can't really make a connection between me and the grass field. Not many people know about my love of flying, I felt free along with nature so I get it.

"Broomstick and—" I did not finish it as I suddenly had a thought when I smelt the last one. Only one person entered my mind.

"What else, Miss Ravens?" Professor Slughorn asked, waiting for something else for me to say.

"Nothing. Nothing else."

After that he let us be and do the same thing that he did with us. I can't help but ponder on that last one.

I smell something that I just smelt very recently.
