C A Z H V Y R E

AFTER FINDING SOME SPOT WHERE NO ONE will hear us, I stopped dragging him and face him. He looks at me with his usual expressionless face but I can see the swirl of emotions in his eyes. He must be worried about something or have some problems that he needs to deal with, it might even have to do something about me.

"Are you okay?" It was the first thing that came up to my mind when I saw his indifferent look despite still holding his usual facade.

"I..." It must be something that he can't tell me quickly.

"My Friday night is always free if you want," I said. He gulps down his nervousness and finally sighs in approval.

"I'm sorry for wasting your time," He must really felt dejected and embarrassed. He also looks stressed over something which must be connected to his family. I know not to push a button on someone's problems but I also know that he's just a kid, like me, he also wants someone to save him from his own nightmares.

"It's fine to approach me anytime, Reg. I'll always listen. If you want, I can help you solve your problem as long as it is within the reach of my abilities." I offered which made him look grateful to me but he never voice it out and just nods his head in agreement.

"Is that all or is there something else?" I can't help but feel that there's still something more to this. He'll not seek me out in the open without contemplating if it's not something serious.

"I think that you should not agree to anything that Rosier will be offering you. There will be a ball this December in our Manor. I think you already have an idea on why Rosier approaches you a while ago." He explained.

Wait, a ball? Is it the same as last year? Although I did not attend that due to some reasons that my uncle inflicted. The situation was that worse.

But honestly, that actually has a good side. I did not need to go to the ball. Of course, all good things must end at some point. I forgot that it was a yearly thing. I'm pretty sure that my uncle wouldn't let something like this slipped by again without dragging me along with him.

I massage the temples of my head before sighing. This is only the first news and I'm already getting tired just thinking about it.

"Are you pertaining to a fact that he's gonna ask me to the ball?" I think it was pretty obvious already. I remember my uncle having a close relationship with the Rosier but he hasn't introduced me to them which only means that I recognized this year. I click my tongue, already thinking that it was Rosier who leaked my information to his parents.

"It must be it." Regulus nods in agreement.

"There's no need to worry. I'll just have to decline it. I can pretty much slip past him." I have my own ways to get out of a situation. Let's just hope that my uncle wouldn't need to jump into this matter and make everything harder for me.

"Just be careful," He said as I nod my head. After making an arrangement this Friday night, I asked Regulus to call Rosier. He was hesitant at first but I reminded him that I can handle a guy like that.

"Well, I didn't expect little Ravens to actually agree in seeing me," Rosier said with his usual grin.

"I didn't expect to be having some bad thoughts like perhaps choking someone to death right now." I can't help but reply with venom to deflate his ego a bit. This guy sure is not that bad from my observations but I haven't really seen that much good in him yet if he has something like that.
