Chapter 34

"Yiyeon-ah, time to go," Jaemin calls the attention of Yiyeon, who was busy sketching on the drawing tablet. "Hwang Yiyeon!"

Yiyeon glared at the guy as he clicked her tongue, "I told you guys not to wait for me. I still need to finish this."

"We all know that we can't leave you alone, right?" Renjun raised a brow. "Besides, the animation you're working on right now is not needed immediately. Right, Jaemin?"

The guy standing beside him nodded. "Come on. It's going to rain soon."

Yiyeon sighed, "I'll be fine, you guys." She said calmly. "I'll go home once I'm halfway through with this. Then, if by chance I get caught up with the rain, I'll just call my brother to pick me up."

Jaemin and Renjun, although worried, sighed and nodded. "Fine, but make sure to lock up, alright?"

"Of course!" Yiyeon nodded. "I'll also clean up, don't worry."

"Fine," Jaemin sighed as he threw the keys to her. "But make sure to text either Renjun or me once you're home, okay?"

"Yes, sir!" She laughed. "Seriously, though. You two are getting worse than Hyunjin and Yikyung," she scoffed. "Don't worry. I'll be fine." Yiyeon smiled.

"We'll get going, then!" Renjun said as he waved his hand.

Jaemin closed the door behind him and began to walk with Renjun.

The hallways on the floor they were on were barely lit up, and it somehow scares them. Not that they would admit it, though.  Jaemin noticed that Renjun was quiet, and he guesses that he must be tired, but that wasn't the case. It looked like something was bothering him.

"Tired?" Jaemin asked.

Renjun looked at him and shook his head, "Not really. I was just thinking about something," he said as he fished his phone out of his pocket. He turned the flashlight on, and Jaemin did the same. "Seriously, the lights on this floor should be replaced as soon as possible. Each day's getting worse," he grunted.

Jaemin nodded. "What were you saying earlier?"

"Ah," Renjun snapped his fingers.

The two finally reached the floor below their clubroom. It was well lit, compared to the lights on the third floor. They kept their phones back in their pockets and continued walking.

"I feel like I should tell you," Renjun started. "But promise me that it should stay between us."

Jaemin raised a brow, "Is it that serious?"
