"Ali wake up." Allison mumbled something under her breath, pushing Lydia away and pulling the covers over her face again. Lydia moved out from under the warm comforter, positioning her body so it was straddling Allison's legs, and began to tickle. "It's your wedding day dumbass, you're going to have to get up sometime." Allison's eyes opened at the word 'wedding' and she laughed when she saw Lydia. She was like a kid, grinning and overly excited for a day that wasn't hers at all. It was Allison's day. "Are you ready to marry the love of your life Allison Argent?"

"I will be when you get off of me." She laughed as Lydia fell to the side, rolling of the bed and out of the door in one fell swoop, only to return with a cup of coffee and a piece of paper.

"Scott asked me to give this to you." Allison smiled, taking the letter first, motioning for Lydia to put the coffee down on the table. "When did you see Scott?" Allison asked. "I saw Stiles actually. He stopped by this morning to drop it off." Lydia took a sip from her mug before setting it down next to Allison's. "Isn't that against the rules or something?"

"The superstition is the groom seeing the bride before the wedding Ali, last time I checked there wasn't a superstition for the best man and the maid of honor. And plus it started when women were nervous that the man would change his mind and not go through with the ceremony. You have nothing to worry about there."

"Thanks for the history lesson geek." Allison joked.

"Okay it's not history its mythology, and I don't understand it. It's funny how things were so different in those times. It was an actual fear for a lot of women. But that probably wouldn't stop me from seeing Stiles anyway." She realized what she was saying after it was too late, and shrugged it off. Allison nodded, smiling slightly at Lydia's remark. "So what does it say." Allison sighed, and began to read.

"Allison, I hate not waking up next to you, and I'm so happy I won't have to after today. You are my everything, and I've never been more sure of any decision in my whole life. I told you we would end up together. I'm so lucky to be marrying my best friend(which Stiles said would be impossible because one, his heart belongs to someone else, a very cute strawberry blond was how he put it.)" Allison slowed down so she could glance up, laughing at the look on Lydia's face, "(And two, kissing me would get old.)I love you, I'll see you soon. Scott."

"That's adorable." Lydia said, slowly like her concentration was somewhere far away, specifically on a boy who held her heart as well. "What's going on with you two?" Allison tilted her head to the side.

"It's your day Ali we aren't going to spend it talking about me and Stiles."

"It's my day I get to choose what we talk about. And I think I deserve to finally get a clear answer to my question. What. Is. Going. On. With. You. And. Stiles? Be honest I know when you're lying Lyds. You're not as good at it as you think." Lydia shook her head in annoyance, moving to where Allison was on the bed and sitting next to her.

"I kissed him on New Years. Actually we kissed a lot. And I wanted things to go further but he wants to do it right and to have an 'adult' relationship, whatever that means. But I stayed with him. We talked and snuggled and kissed. It was..." Lydia took a deep breath, lowering her head to cover the size of the grin on her face. "It was perfect." The grin subdued into a shy smile. "But?" Allison asked as she turned to face Lydia.

"But it was a night. One night. Weeks ago and now my mom is.. She's gone and Stiles is somewhat walking on egg shells around me. He wants to know what this is. And I do too, but he's too afraid to ask me and I know that the second we talk it'll all be over."

"Why would it all be over?"

"Because he's my best friend Ali. There is a huge complication in and of itself. And then the fact that I seem to destroy every meaningful relationship I have. He's a good guy, and I'd be bad for him. I'd never forgive myself if I was the one to drag him down."
