A few weeks later, Sunday came. Adeline was considered the fashionista in her family. Her morning routine for Sunday was to take a shower, find a cute outfit, fix her hair, add some makeup, and by that time, she would give some advice to her parents and sisters about their outfits. On the way to church, she always stopped at the Kum & Go gas station to grab her favorite sausage and gravy biscuit for breakfast.
Once arrived to church, Adeline continued the routine. She joined the rest of the girls on the dance team to prepare for service. Minutes before service began, the dance team looked out among the congregation and noticed a new family visiting. There was a young man with this family that seemed quiet.
At Jubilee church, the normal was that there were lots of young women but never any young men. Naturally, when a young man arrived, the dance team immediately begins to match make the young man with whichever young woman seemed the most innocent.
Adeline recognized the young man. It was the same guy she passed by at school. She went to introduce herself as the pastor's daughter. The young man introduced himself as Jayden. He then began to remind her of their collisions at school. Adeline smiles, laughed, and welcomed his family to the church.
