The room was filled with the photographer's compliments and the constant sound of the camera clicking. I strike a pose every few seconds. I alternate between looking in the camera and looking away to show a slight raw feeling to it.

Mark was standing right behind the camera as he switches his attention between me and his phone. A smile would form on his face when his eyes lands on me.

"Could you hold the bottle higher? Yup, that's it!" the photographer says.

"Should I pump some and put it on my cheek?" I ask.

"Sure."

I open the cap of the bottle, pumping a decent amount on my finger before posing. Then, I spread the serum on my cheek, letting my finger rest there while I looked into the camera.

They continued taking pictures for the next 20 minutes before we concluded the photoshoot. The make up artists helped me remove my make up and change back to my normal outfit before letting me go.

Once I was done, I ambled to Mark who was sitting by the chair, he was busy on his phone.

"Hey," I called out, getting his attention, "I'm done."

Mark looks up, tucking his phone away as he sends me a sweet smile. He stands up, grabbing my hand as we both walk to the company car that was right outside the building.

"You look pretty," Mark says after letting me enter the car first.

Despite turning red, I say,"It's the make up,"

Mark rolls his eyes, taking a seat next to me. "We're going to your place right?"

I nod.

I had recently moved to my own apartment a few weeks ago. I thought that it was a huge step for me since it would be the first time I would be living alone. It took a while for me to find the apartment, but the moment I saw this house, I fell in love with it.

Mark hadn't seen my apartment yet, so this would be the first time he would be in my house.

"Oh- wow," Mark exclaims, scanning my place.

The apartment wasn't too big, but it wasn't too small either. It was a studio apartment since I liked the idea of having an open concept apartment.

There's a full glass window separating my bed and the living room. My bedroom was up on a platform. I had my mattress queen sized because I liked the feeling of being able to roll around when I'm asleep. I had a small bed side table on each side. The bathroom door was a few feet away from my bed.

As for the living room, I had decorated it with a white comfy sofa, it was resting by the glass window separating the rooms. The TV was on the other side of the wall, at the end of the room was a full glass window, the setting sun brightening the room.

The kitchen was right next to the living room, the cupboards was painted an emerald green to match with the plants I have in the room. The counters were a simple white colour. I had a small wooden dining table by the wall, with chairs on opposite ends.

"I didn't expect your house to look like this," Mark claims, sitting on the couch. He pats the empty seat next to him.

I take a seat next to my boyfriend, as he wraps an arm around my shoulder, "what do you mean? Did you think my house would be a mess?" I joked.

He laughs with me, "it just screams... you."

I snort, turning on the television as I lean on his shoulder. Mark and I recently shared a Netflix account because we both liked similar genres when it comes to music and films.
