The days following Tony's party felt like a whirlwind. Training sessions, team briefings, and endless introductions filled your schedule, leaving little time to process everything. But no matter how overwhelming it got, you knew you were exactly where you were meant to be. And with Sam by your side, the transition felt a little easier.

One morning, you arrived at the Avengers compound for a training session. The place was abuzz with activity—various team members going about their business, preparing for missions, or just hanging out. You took a deep breath, trying to calm your nerves as you headed to the gym.

As you pushed open the door, you were met with the sight of Captain America—Steve—already there, mid-workout. His shirt clung to his form, damp with sweat, his muscles rippling with every movement. You felt your heart skip a beat, and for a moment, you just stood there, watching him.

He noticed you almost immediately, pausing in his routine to offer you a smile. "Morning, Y/N. Ready for another day?"

"Uh, yeah," you managed to reply, hoping you didn't sound as flustered as you felt. "I didn't expect anyone else to be here this early."

"Old habits die hard," Steve said with a shrug. "I've always been an early riser. Helps me clear my mind before the day starts."

You nodded, feeling slightly awkward. "Makes sense. I should probably warm up too."

He gestured to the weights. "Feel free to join me. We could go through some drills together if you'd like."

Your eyes widened in surprise. "You want to train with me?"

"Why not?" he said, his smile softening. "We're on the same team now, right?"

His offer made your heart race, but you quickly pushed aside your nerves. This was an opportunity to learn from one of the best, and you weren't about to pass it up. "Sure, that sounds great."

The two of you fell into a rhythm, working through various exercises and drills. Steve was patient and encouraging, offering tips and guidance as you went along. Despite the intensity of the workout, he made it feel manageable, even enjoyable. You couldn't help but admire his focus and dedication, the way he seemed to push himself without ever losing that calm, centered demeanor.

As you wrapped up a set, Steve handed you a towel, his gaze lingering on you just a little longer than necessary. "You're doing really well," he said, his voice carrying a hint of admiration. "You've got a lot of potential."

"Thanks," you replied, feeling a warm blush spread across your cheeks. "I've got a good teacher."

He chuckled, shaking his head. "I'm just showing you the ropes. You've got the talent."

There was a moment of silence, and you found yourself caught in his gaze again. The intensity of his blue eyes made your heart skip, and you couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same strange connection you did. But before you could dwell on it, the gym door swung open, and Sam strolled in.

"There you are!" Sam called out, his voice breaking the spell. "I've been looking all over for you."

You quickly composed yourself, smiling at Sam. "Just getting some extra training in."

Sam glanced between you and Steve, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Looks like you've found yourself a pretty good workout buddy."

Steve gave a small, almost imperceptible nod before turning back to you. "Keep up the good work. I'll see you at the briefing later."
