It was supposed to be a lone night when my parents said they have a party to attend. I just had to dive into the internet and search for clues wherein I'd finally discover something worthy of another piece of missing puzzle. It was supposed to be a quiet time for myself to clear my mind and disentangle the messy knots. To determine the hazy lines.

Yet, the moment Seokhoon suddenly came to me with his phone lit up right to my eyes.

"Because I have to show you Seola's medical record. The real one."

The night turned darker than ever.

I looked at the medical test result, still in shock. "How did you get this?" I asked.

"Remember when I said that lately I help my father with work?" he said, and I nodded. "Because of that, I easily have access to his study... The day before New Year, I helped him. I overheard his conversation with Ms. Cheon through the phone."

"And?"

"I found out that she sent my father a copy of Seola's medical record. They talked about it for hours. From what I could grasp, no one on the school boards knew about it except for my father. Even to Seola's parent herself. She never asked for their approval."

No one knew? That means...

Seokhoon nodded as if my mind was floating through the air. "It means the one who ordered everyone at school to not talk about this is—"

"Ha Eunbyeol," I whispered.

"I guess it's not that difficult to know when she's been acting odd ever since Seola fell."

This is beyond despicable.

Taking his phone back from my hand, he zoomed in on the photo and showed the description part on the doctor's note. "What Ms. Cheon told Eunbyeol was a mere lie. It was written here that she got intracranial hematoma. There is a rupture on the blood vessel inside her brain, that's why she went through surgery that night. Apparently, she's already unconscious long before they found her. Also, she got a fracture on her back."

"Is there any CT scan?"

"Yeah, but I didn't get enough time to capture it. I bet my father saved the digital copy on his drive. I'll search for it later."

"What about a rape kit? Like its documentation form."

Seokhoon arched a brow. "A rape kit? Why are you asking for that?"

"You might not know Seola's condition, but I saw signs of assault left on her body. Though there's no definite in it yet," I clarified.

"Well, if she really got assaulted, I might see the form already in the envelope."

I shook my head. Even if he saw it, the form most likely separated from the general medical record. "There is a chance the examination was done under different authority, like trained personnel which specialized on this matter."

"Then, it was pretty much confidential beside the examiner and their legal guardians, right? Obviously why I didn't get a hand on it," he concluded. Pocketing his phone back, he continued, "But honestly, if she really did. Who is the perpetrator?"

When Seokhoon asked, I was contemplating whether or not I should tell him about Heo Ahin. Moreover, my first assumptions on Shim Doha at the time I knew. My eyes then flickered to him that showed genuine curiosity. I sighed, "I was thinking it's either Doha or someone who's not invited."

"Who?"

Showing him one of the posts from Instagram, I said, "Heo Ahin. I heard that he's one of the reasons why Seola fought with Doha that night. You know anything about that?"
