I'm very tired. But I read something earlier that has bugged me.

Okay, so a few years ago a young teenager killed herself because she had bad grades. I'm not gonna ridicule her, as many people have on this subject. I'm here to deliver some sage words that may just help.

Your grade is a number. It doesn't reflect who you are. Its a number. A number that doesn't define you. It's only people judging how smart you look on paper. Your intelligence and worth on this earth is immeasurable. There is only one you, only will there ever be one you. You are your own unique person, your own little slice of perfect. Embrace your flaws. If its your nose that grows a little crooked or you don't have a thigh gap, remember that that is what makes you you. Your crooked nose is a feature that stands out, makes you your own person. Not everyone has a thigh gap. It shows that you are so passionate about something that you decided to always make it part of you. In quotation of a Tumblr post a while back, "Scars and stretch marks are the most beautiful things because it shows that you lived and made your life fit you." And its true. If climbing mountains makes you happy and the circular scar that sits on the middle of your left knee reminds you when you're old and grey that when you were 25 that you climbed a mountain, then so be it. It makes you unique.
