Kaito

Well, this is different! Connor and Emiko said it'd be better if I narrated this part, since they weren't really there for the fight. I'm down!

As Frostine used her ice to create a straight path to Alder for us, she started to look a little nervous.

Kaito: "Hey, Frostine, are you okay?"

Frostine: "I-I'm fine, just... a little scared of fighting Alder. We were good friends back at Camp-Mythos"

Idril: "Don't give up yet, maybe we can still get him to join our side, like how you and July did"

Alder saw we were approaching and flew up to the top of the meteor that was frozen in air. Frostine brought us up to the top as well. Alder just stood there, arms crossed and staring at us.

Alder: "Frostine, why have you come here?"

Frostine: "I can't let you do this! You're hurting so many innocent people! And Nanami's plan will kill everyone! Including the spirit of your mom!"

Suddenly, a small pebble from the meteor shot towards us faster than a bullet, just barely grazing Frostine's cheek.

Kaito: "W-Woah! Are you okay?!"

Frostine: "Yeah, I'm fine"

Alder glared at us with pure rage in his eyes.

Alder: "Don't you ever mention her!! Nanami has already guaranteed her safety. She even said she'd bring my mom back!!

Kaito: "Do you really think your mom would want you doing this?! Killing all these people, and for what, to start over again?!"

Alder: "You don't know anything!!"

The meteor started to break apart, creating giant boulders and rocks that were floating around Alder. He then thrust his hand towards us, sending all of them at us with incredible speed.

Idril held her rune stone out and slowed the velocity of the boulders, making them just slow enough for me to cut them down. I drew my claymore off of my back and sliced through each boulder, not leaving a single one left.

Alder: "Why do you always try to fight me so... normally. You can destroy any projectiles I send your way, but when it comes down to it, you can't do much of anything against my real power"

Alder held his hand straight up into the air, then swung it down. I suddenly felt a huge pressure being forced down on me. I fell to my knees, and so did Frostine and Idril. I could barley manage to keep myself up, and it looked like Alder wasn't even trying.

Alder: "My ability to manipulate gravity trumps all others. Everything is dependent on gravity, and nothing can overcome it"

Suddenly, Idril stood up. She walked in front of us, like she wasn't affected by the sudden change in gravity. However Alder didn't seem the littlest bit fazed.

Alder: "How are you standing?"

Idril: "There is one thing that can beat gravity, and that's time itself. I stopped the time of gravity just around my body. So nothing you do to increase my gravity will work"

Alder shot another boulder at her, however it stopped mid air. Idril had frozen the boulder in place, like how she'd frozen the meteor.

Idril: "I finally realize the weakness in your gravity power. You can only manipulate the gravity that already exists. But take us somewhere without gravity, say, a vacuum or a place where gravity doesn't work, and you're powerless"

Alder grinned.

Alder: "You're smarter than you look, Elf girl, but that doesn't change anything. In the end, you still aren't strong enough to fight me"
