Jia's POV

God school was eventful. I sigh to myself as I arrive in my house. The stares never really stopped till the end of the day.

"How was your day Ms. Jia?" Sandra comes out.

Sandra was one of my father's employees. She's been working for him for years now. And I was happy that she was staying here with me.

"It was...okay. Gosh I'm tired." I tell her rolling my shoulders.

"I could run you a bath if you want. Your favorite bath bombs have been restocked" she suggests

"Thanks Sandra but I'll do it myself." I smile

"No no. I insist. I'm here to make your life easier. That's what I'm paid for." She insists a big smile on her lips "So just relax and I'll call you when it's ready"

The week passed faster than expected. I'm fitting more by day. Hwasa, Lisa and Irene have been with me the whole time. It's nice to know that I have people to talk to.
I had barely been here a week and rumors began circulating already. I heard one that said I adopted and that I wasn't my father's legitimate child. And the funniest one I heard was that I wasn't actually my father's child and that he was my sugar daddy instead. There was this boy though, Taehyung who had apparently come to talk to me and 'become friends' but Hwasa dismissed him as fast as he arrived.

I sat at my study revising my chemistry notes. The final exams were close and I wasn't planning on failing. At all. When I heard a ping from my phone, I knew it was Hwasa. She's amongst the only four people who have my phone number.

H: Hey there. There's a party tonight you should definitely come

J: Party? I'm not really into those.

H: Oh come on. I'm not buying that. Send your address I'll be there by 8

J: I don't have a choice do I?

H: Obviously not. See you soon.

Gosh a party. Last time I was at one was back in the states after the last day of school. But gosh that was months ago.
After sending Hwasa my address, I walk into my closet and begin to look for something to wear.

I settle on a black long sleeve dress. Not too short, stops just about mid thigh. I settle on a pair of combat boots. I enter my bathroom and shower before taking care of my hair. I straighten it and comb it so It could be longer.

I put a little bit of makeup and lipgloss. I fit into my dress and adjust it better so it could cover more of my thighs.
My father was out of town on business so I just needed to notify Sandra that I'd be out.
Once I heard the honk of what I guess was Hwasa's car I rush out of the house and to her car. Inside was, as I expected, Irene and Lisa.

"Thank goodness. I thought I'd have to come raid your closet for a better outfit." Hwasa laughed

"No need." I laughed back

"Omg. I love what you've done with your hair girl." Lisa compliments

We arrive at a dark mansion a little outskirts of town but not too far from my home at least. The mansion was painted gray on the outside and the parking lot as massive as the whole school. The house was bigger than mine though. I wonder who's house this was.

"Jia. Girl you have to stick to me. I'll explain later" Hwasa turns to warn me before we exit the car.

The inside of the house was as lavish as the outside. Huge chandeliers decorated the entrance and the living room but they stayed off. The room was barely lit and the music was deafening. The led lights around the house being the only source of light, I decided to listen to Hwasa and stick to her. We held hands as we fitted through the crowd looking for the beverages. Gosh this place was packed. Once we reached the grandiose kitchen we were greeted with thankfully lesser people and more food than my little self could handle.

"Have a pizza" Hwasa handed me the slice and I bit into it whilst she chose a drink from the table.

Jin came from god knows where to hug Hwasa from behind and she smiled. Letting go of my hand to hug her boyfriend I looked around for the two other girls we came with but they had seemed to disappear.

"Hey there." Jin finally turns to me and I mumble a subtle hi.

"Please Jin stay a sec with her. I need to use the bathroom" Hwasa pats Jin on the back and disappears into the crowd.

"Wanna meet some of my friends?" He asks.

"Yeah sure." I nod.

"Sweet. You're gonna love them." He smiles. He takes my hand and leads me back to the living room, through the crowd and up the stairs. After that he leads me into what seems to be the upstairs living room.

The air becomes stuffy and it stinks of alcohol, weed and sweat.
A bunch of people are smoking either in a corner or around a table. Then we walk up to a group that was seated around the couch or on the floor doing what I hope wasn't cocaine.

"Hey guys. This is Jia. Jia these are my friends" "that's Namjoon" he points to a boy with broad shoulders and a dimpled smile. I knew him. He was class president and I've bumped into him a few times in the library at school.

He winks at me and I smile back.

"That's Yoongi but everyone calls him Suga cause he's so sweet" he points to a boy sitting with his arms as legs crossed. He has black hair that covers his forehead and a little bit of his eyes. He's dressed in all black and doesn't look to smile.

I know him from my art class, he's one of the best painters. The teacher is also quite fond of him that's why his artworks are displayed all over the classroom. But I didn't know people call him Suga. It's like calling death joy.

"Yeah. I know him from Art class" I smile but he doesn't smile back. He just watches me in silence.

"Anyways. That's Hoseok but you can call him Hobi" he points to the boy that i sit next to in English class with the white dyed hair. He's also nice I've spoken to him outside of class and he also happens to be in my chemistry class too. "I think you two already know each other"

I nod and he sends me a smile.

"This is Jimin." The boy with pink dyed hair stands up and walks up to me and holds my hand up to his lips and kisses it.

"Nice to finally meet you Jia. You have lovely eyes" I blush at his remark and compliment his hair color.

"And that's Taehyung." He points at a boy with black hair covering his eyes. I smile after remembering his encounter with Hwasa earlier in the week

"Yeah I know you from P.E and your amazing encounter with Hwasa" I smile as I wave but he blushes and looks down.

"And last but not least, Jungkook." He points to a boy in the far back who was smoking. He had a sleeve of tattoos that screamed bad news. His eyebrow piercing somehow made his eyes pop. His black hair that made him look even more sinister covered most past of his forehead.

He looked at me so intensively that it made me uncomfortable.

"Nice to meet you" I smiled at him but he just looked away from me.

"Don't mind Jungkook, he's just having one of those days. If you know what I mean. How about I serve you a drink" Jimin suggest. "What would you like" he gives a charming smile that makes me feel appreciated.

"I'm okay thanks." I refuse.

"Jin-ah." I hear Hwasa's voice and Jin freak out a little bit. She walks up to him and smacks him behind the head before mumbling something in his ears.

She comes up to me and grabs my hand and leads me out of the room.

"I don't want you hanging around those boys. They're bad news" Hwasa warns.

"Why. They seem genuinely nice especially Jimin" I whine

"You should fear him. Behind that sweetness he's a mischievous little prick. He can destroy your life in a heartbeat." She tells me. We go down the stairs and back to where she left me.

"And it's not even him you should be afraid of. It's Jungkook. He looks bad and IS bad. His family owns like 1/3 of almost all the buildings here in Korea so if you cross paths with him and it doesn't end well, you can't hide from him. He's sinister and he's not putting up a front. He's like that. I'm only doing this cause I want to protect you." She adds. She sounds like she has experience but I'm still not going to ask.
