It was officially the mid-semester break we had all been anticipating. But we had our final exams after this and I was scared out of my mind.
I couldn't wait for my mother to come. You should've seen the way I rushed out of school like a mad woman. She would be arriving this evening and I want everything at home to be perfect. My father on the other hand wasn't so stoked about her coming. He just had a divorce, why would he want to be in the same room with the woman who took half of his fortune?
When I arrived home he informed me about "an impromptu business trip" he had. So he had to go to Hong Kong and "take care of business". I nodded cause I knew those were lies. He told me I could show her to any of the spare rooms we had.
He rushed out of the house as if his ass was on fire which made me laugh a little. I checked the spare bedroom and made sure everything was perfect. When the driver told me he had gone to pick her up I could barely contain my happiness. Sandra kept me company as I fidgeted around the house telling me how she wanted to meet my mom too.
When I saw the black suv pull up into our grandiose driveway, I dashed out of the house.
I ran towards the car and my mother came out."Gosh mama I missed you" I hugged her
"Oh I missed you too" she hugged me back.
She looked at me and caressed me like she used to when she was away on business or I was away on holiday and came back.
"You've grown" she compliments
"Oh please mama its only been two months" I blush
"And a lot can happen in those two months" she tells me
"Well I mean maybe" I smile timidly.
"This house is...beautiful." She compliments the nice mansion behind me.
"Yeah. It's much better than the one in Boston" I say as we walk toward the front door.
She walks in and admires and compliments the decor of the living room. Sandra appears from the kitchen and greets her with the biggest smile. We both show my mom to her bedroom which was just next door to mine.
I wanted to tell her so much about my new life here in Busan but she told me she would listen to me as long as I wanted after she woke up from her nap as her flight was long. Knowing my mother, she was too scared of planes that she never is able to sleep on one. No matter how long the flight was. Maybe a 30 minute nap but never longer.I leave her to get her rest and I retreat to my bedroom to plan my spring break with my mother. As I was in the middle of browsing the dining sites here in Busan my phone went off.
Jungkook: Hey you busy
Me: Not for now at least
Jungkook: Come outside.
Me: Now
Jungkook: No tomorrow. Of course now. And be quick.I sigh and put in my shoes before leaving my room. I head downstairs past the vast living room and through the front door. I ran to the gates outside and into the passenger seat of Jungkook's car.
"Hey there princess" he smiles when I put on my seat belt.
"Hi" I smile. He moves in to kiss my lips in the most passionate way ever
"Where are we going?" I ask when he moves away from the kiss and starts the car.
"You'll see." He smirks.
I hated the fact that he never told me where he was taking me. He could be taking me to sell me on the black market and I wouldn't know. He doesn't drive too long and pulls up to the apartment complex where we go to read.
