We walk back to the street hand in hand as he told me a funny story of him and his friends. He had me laughing my ass off. He stops abruptly and curses.
"What is it?" I ask. I follow his stare to the gray car parked on the side of the road.
"Don't be alarmed but that car followed us here. I saw it when I was driving here but I thought I was being paranoid." He whispers.
The car looks familiar. He's about to walk up to the car but I pull him back by grabbing his hand.
"What?" He looks at me with concern
"Lemme handle it" I say.
Before he could protest, I was already walking up to the car. Just as I expected the drivers dipped down to not be seen. But it doesn't stop me from approaching the car.
I arrive at the drivers door and knock on the window.
The person winds down and avoids my eyes and stare."Hi there Chen" I smile warmly
"Hello Ms. Lee" my father's bodyguard finally takes off the shades he thought would conceal his identity.
"Lemme guess. Appa put you up to this?" I frown
"He wanted to be sure you were safe." He clears his throat.
"Well tell him, I am. And once you leave which is now, you're not gonna come back" I say angrily. I walk away before he says anything to protest.
Once I approach Jungkook who stood with a stoic expression on his face, he immediately asked me if I knew the person.
"That's Chen my dad's bodyguard" I clarify
"Bodyguard?" He looks confused.
"My dad actually told me to stay away from you a few months ago. And I haven't been respecting that." I confess.
He's quiet at first as if he's thinking carefully.
"I don't want to be away from you. Ever" I grab his hand tightly.
"Me neither. Funnily enough my dad told me the same thing. To stay away from Lee Jae-min's daughter. But I'll never leave you until hell freezes over. And even then, I'd still be there." He looks at me.
"Promise?"
"I promise."

I walk into the house without even saying hello to Sandra. I head straight to my father's office. I don't knock and just barge in. There I see my mother sitting down as they discussed something.
"Ji-a!" He yells at my rudeness.
"You asked Chen to follow me?!" I argue
"It's for your own good. Jeon Ji-tae is a bad man" he stands up
"How does Jungkook's father concern me?" I ask
"He does! You are to stay away from that boy Ji-a. This isn't an order anymore. You've pushed my buttons enough. This is a warning" he hits his hands on the table.
"Jungkook is nothing like his father! I know that" i defend
"What makes you think that? You wouldn't know until it's too late!"
"Because I love him appa!"
There's silence. My parents both look at me stunned at what I had just said.
"What do you know about love Ji-a?! You're just a child. You'd believe anything that comes out of his mouth" my father laughs spitefully
"That's where you're mistaken appa! You will not stop me from being with him."
We look at each other with hard stares not either of us wanting to back down. Both wanting to support what we stand for.
A father hellbent on protecting his daughter that isn't in any danger whatsoever. And a daughter focused on keeping the boy she loves despite of her father's warning.I walk out of the room despite my mother's calls to me.
