It was Tuesday evening already. Jungkook and I decided to meet at the municipal library.
I was busy looking at the books on the history shelf when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I gasped but got quickly relieved when I saw it was Jungkook.

"You can't go about scaring a girl like that" I scold him.

"I'm innocent I swear. All I did was touch you." He defends. I turn around, about to give him a proper scolding but I didn't expect him to be that close to me.

So close that I could feel his hot breath on my face. I mean, at least his breath didn't stink of boiled eggs. It smelled of peppermint. His cologne smelled like caramel and jasmine. For someone like Jungkook, I expected him to wear a strong and musky perfume not something so sweet.

"Well you could've at least whispered my name or something to notify me of your presence." I told him.

I didn't feel his hands snake around my waist until he brought me closer to me. He dug his nose into my neck and inhaled my scent. Thank god we were in a secluded off of the library surrounded by the tall bookshelves.

"Strawberries" he says

"What?" I ask

"That's what you smell like. What you always smell like." He whispers

He brings up his head to look me into my eyes. His look is so intense that my breathing begins to falter a bit.

"I love your eyes. There is just some kind of warmth and peace that it brings." He whispers.

"Uhm...thanks. W-we should definitely get to work. Remember we h-have a project" I say trying to free myself from his hold.

He finally lets go and clears his throat.

"Yeah you're right. You know you don't have to be here if you don't want to. I can just do all the work and in two weeks it'll be ready" he suggests

"Yeah I know. But I prefer doing it with you." I smile softly

He just looks at me and smirks. He doesn't say a word and begins to look through the English Literature isle.

"So what do you have in mind" I ask but he stays quiet analyzing the book shelves.

"Lemme tell you something" he begins

"You know, love is such a beautiful thing when it's described by those who have such a happy and beautiful ending. But love is also pain. Not everyone gets a happy ending. Like Orpheus, who couldn't wait to set eyes on his one true love before leaving the underworld.
Like Tristan and Isolde who had a forbidden love, where Isolde was betrothed to Tristan's uncle" he says touching each and every book on the lane as he walked forward analyzing the titles. "Like Cleopatra and Mark Antony, where it was solely for seduction but turned into a tragic love story"

"But also like Romeo and Juliet. Their love was forbidden and it ends in a tragedy." He whispers and comes to a stop.

He pulls out the book that he seemed to have been searching for.

"Romeo and Juliet?" I question?

"Nowadays everything ends with happy endings. Cinderella happens to be the girl with the only shoe size in a whole kingdom. She finds her Prince Charming. Snow White cheating death and coming back to life after a kiss shared by her Prince Charming.
But its not always like that. You don't always come back to life after getting kissed by the one you love. And you're not always gonna have a unique shoe size amongst many." He says turning to me. I listen to his words carefully as he made his assumptions and spoke his mind.

"I don't believe In happy endings. I believe in reality." He traces my collarbone. I'm once more dipped in a dream.

His lips are moving so sensually and so smoothly. His eyes seem to hide every emotion he could feel. I could only see a void, an emptiness. I could see loneliness.
We stood there in silence as we were both mesmerized by each other. Standing there finding comfort in each other.

"What do you say we get out of here?" He suggests.

"What about the project?" I ask.

"It can be done outside the library you know"

We burrow the copy of Romeo and Juliet and leave the library.

"Where are we going?" I ask as he dragged me with him down the sidewalk.

"You'll see." Is all he said.

We walk a few blocks till we come to a halt at a quite small apartment complex. Instead of using the front door we go round the back and use the back door. We climb the stairs to what I'm guessing the rooftop. But it wasn't exactly the view of the sun and neighboring buildings we were met with, instead with a beautiful botanical garden covered by a transparent roof top for sunlight to seep through. The place was grand and spacious. There were a few benches around. We chose one to sit at and he opened the book.

"Love is a smoke raised with the fume of sighs;
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes;
Being vex'd a sea nourish'd with lovers' tears." Jungkook read aloud.

He looks at me and repeated the words just slower.
He continues to read the book out loud and I can't help but look at him and listen attentively. What was so satisfying and peaceful about his voice? Why did I feel a feel of comfort listening to him speak. He could go on and on and I would listen happily.

****
I had not expected to see that side of Jungkook. I sat at my vanity brushing my hair and thinking about earlier today. I felt so much different with him. My heart did these little somersault every time he looked at me. His dark hair covered his eyes but I could still decipher every single emotion he showed. They weren't much but I could see peace.

I was in the girls locker room changing into my volleyball attire as I listened to the IT girls rant about their latest lay.

"What about you Jia. Have you got any interesting sex stories?" Jisoo one of the girls turns around to ask bringing all the attention to me.

"No not really..." I blush.

"Girl you're telling me you haven't gotten laid since you got here?" Jennie gasped

"Not exactly..." I redden once more.

"Or are you like...a virgin?" Jennie giggles.

I don't reply and the girls in the locker room begin to giggle.

"We've gotta fix that like ASAP." Jisoo says almost as if she were shock.

"No I'm okay. Trust me." I say shrug my shoulders as I wore my sneakers.

"Don't tell me you're about that whole no sex before marriage thing. Cause it's so lame and old school" Jennie confirms.

"No not that. I'm not a virgin, I just do it with people that I really feel comfortable with " I respond.

The girls just look at themselves and giggle. What was so funny about what I said? Someone please explain.
When we were all done, we walk out of the locker room and begin with some stretches. Some students were hanging around the gym just sitting around and speaking amongst themselves.
I notice a little later Jungkook and his friends walk in.
