Chapter 6

"This is very extraordinary! More luxurious look than the Chanel book." Jennie spotted the feather lamp when she comes into the dorm.

"Oh, you're here!" Jisoo was eating alone in the dining area when she realized Jennie arrives.

"Yeah, we have an early shoot tomorrow, so I decided to depart from here. Where did you get that lamp? It's so elegant. I have seen nothing like that before." Jennie asks Jisoo.

"It's from Piya's room. I guess it's better to display that in the living room instead of hiding inside Piya's. I haven't told her about it, though. But I'm positive she will not mind. It's really beautiful, isn't it?" Jisoo carries on with her eating.

"Yeah, it is. I almost can't take my eyes off of this thing. Mom will love it as well." Jennie was thoroughly amused by the lamp. She has seen no kind of bird that has stunning feathers.

The two maknae's arrived after a few minutes. They bought chicken takeout on their way home. Piya did not notice the lamp and headed towards the kitchen. She coldly smiled and passed by as fast as she can at Jennie, who did not get the chance to greet her back.

"Hi, Jisoo eonnie! We bought chicken on our way home. We realized we don't have any proper food in here for you to eat. I'll just get a plate to serve this. Good thing that you're still eating. Chicken and instant ramyun would be a perfect match."  Piya happily greeted Jisoo.

"Did you guys have fun at the park? By the way, Piya, I place your feather lamp in the living room. It is too stunning to be hidden, so I thought we should put it outside. I hope you don't mind." Jisoo smiled at Piya waiting for her no worries response.

"Piya! Come here for a second, please." Chaeyoung noticed the feather lamp. Her eyes widen. She cannot believe what she saw.

Chaeyoung pulls Piya outside the dorm. She doesn't care if the eonnies will find it rude, but all she demands is to know the truth from Piya.

"Are those your feather, Piya?! You didn't mention that earlier when we were talking! Piya, didn't you get it? It's already happening to you! It only means that you already fell to Jennie. Soon enough, the news will reach Deity. He will cut your wings, Piya! And I will fail on this mission! Aren't you scared of him? Please Piya, back off!" Chaeyoung was angry. She can't contain her frustrations. She blew it all to Piya, then she stormed off to her bedroom.

"Hey, what happened to Chaeyoung? Did you two argue? You just got home, and then suddenly Chaeyoung was furious." Jennie followed them outside after seeing the angry Chaeyoung.

"Uhhmm no, we're good. Maybe she was just tired. We went on a lot of walking earlier." Piya's defensive answer to Jennie. She was about to go back inside when Jennie stops her.

"Piya, how about us? Are we good? You seemed aloof these days. Are you avoiding me intentionally? Did I do something wrong?" Jennie was sincere when she asks Piya.

"Yeah, we're good. It's just that, uhhmm. No, never mind. Let's go inside." Piya smiled, but Jennie noticed she looks sad. The energetic Piya that she knew was far from Piya that she just talked a moment ago.

"Hey Jennie, come here. I want to tell something." Jisoo joined Piya in the living room.

"Our manager stopped by here earlier. He told me to cascade this to you, but obviously, Chaeng is not in the mood so, Piya please tell it to Chaeyoung later. JYP invited us to be his guest at Party People. We should prepare our songs and one cover song to perform live." Jisoo announced to Piya and Jennie.
