Chapter 1: I'd Never Lose To You

Nana's POV

Imagine if an extremely hot and handsome guy, who is also very rich and comes from a well-known family, walks up to you and ask your hand for marriage, what would you say?

Most of you all might say a 'Yes'. Some of you might also say a 'No' for an answer if that dude is someone unknown to you; someone you've never seen before in your life.

Okay, now imagine if that same hot rich dude is your childhood friend, on whom you used to have a crush on back when you were little kids, then what would be your answer this time around?

Obviously you'll say 'Yes', unless you're already dating someone else at that moment, right?

Your childhood friend, who was once your former childhood crush, handsome, hot and rich, is now on his knees while holding a bouquet of red roses in front of you, asking you to marry him; what a romantic scenario. A dream-come true situation indeed.

The same case was happening to me right now. Well, sort of, I guess.

I, Nana Osaki, who just turned 16 on last year's December, was now standing at the front door of my house with a huge bouquet of red roses shoved into my face by a certain individual.

I repeat – A bouquet of red roses shoved into my face by a certain individual.

"This bouquet is for you." a familiar annoying yet deep sexy masculine voice spoke up to me. "From now on, you're my fiancé, Nana Osaki."

WAIT?! WHAT?!

I quickly moved the bouquet away from my face and looked up, scowling at the certain tall individual in front of me as my brownish amber eyes bored into his beautiful turquoise one in an anger manner.

This had got to be some sick joke.

"Will you repeat that for me again, Touya?" I asked while my right eyebrow twitched in annoyance.

"You heard me, you idiot." The individual named, Touya scoffed. "From now on, you're my fiancé."

Hearing that again deepened my scowl even more now.

Touya Todoroki; the eldest son of Enji and Rei Todoroki was my childhood friend. My parents and Enji Todoroki had been friends with one another ever since their elementary school days. My parents then fell in love with each other and started dating at their 1st year of high school while Enji got engaged into an arranged marriage with Rei Himura from the famous Himura clan during his college days. So, anyone could easily tell that my parents and the Todorokis knew each other for ages now.

And because of that, I had been friends with the Todoroki siblings ever since my birth. And these Todoroki siblings consisted of – Touya, a 24 year old businessman; Fuyumi, a 23 year old elementary school teacher; Natsuo, a 19 year old college student and Shoto, a 16 year old high schooler like me.

And now let's talk about this handsome annoying gentleman in front of me.

Touya Todoroki, a 24 year old young man (meaning he was 8 years older than me), was now currently working as the head director of the corporate planning department at their family business; The Todoroki Corporation and Technologies. Touya possessed a tall stature and fair skin with a slim somewhat-lanky yet well-toned build physique. He had longish crimson hair (once dyed black for whatever reason back in his college days) that always spiked upward around his head with bangs hanging low over his eyes, while his eyes were thin, turquoise in color and heavily lidded.

As a child, Touya was very energetic and boisterous but with the passage of time, he became a stoic, aloof, confident, serious and focused individual who rarely showed emotion.
