Chapter 5: I Want You To Smile More

Nana's POV

After the track and field club activities were over for today, me and my girlfriends went back to the girl's locker room and began to change back into our school uniforms. As we were putting on our uniforms, Kendo from Class 2-B suddenly spoke up.

"Lately your boyfriend hasn't been showing up at all, Nana." Kendo pointed out.

"Did you guys fight?" Yanagi asked.

"No." I sighed and shook my head. "He attracts too much attention which is embarrassing, so I had him stop it. And besides, he's my prospective marriage partner, not my boyfriend."

"I'm surprised that Touya-kun even agreed to something like this." Momo stated.

"That's out of his character if I be honest with you." Jiro added.

"Well, when I finally managed him to agree with me, he said something like – 'Looks like there is no choice. I'll pick you up at your house, so walk home by yourself. Don't waste your time dawdling on your way back...' things like that." I scoffed. 

"Now that's more like him." Jiro deadpanned.

"It's not fair to hog him by yourself, Nana. Ikemen should be shared with everyone." Mina giggled in a teasing tone.

This made us everyone chuckle out loud while I let out a smile and shook my head in response to Mina's teasing. After a while later, I was the first one to walk out of the locker room before I started to head towards the front gate of our school. As soon as I reached there, I noticed few girls from the first year giggling and whispering among themselves in front of the school gate.

"What's wrong?" I asked them.

"Oh, Nana-senpai!" the girls greeted me with a smile. "It seems that there is a super-hot guy with a sports car waiting at the front gates. He is so sexy!"

I immediately went rigid on my spot in shock and horror.

Even though he just promised me not to do it anymore!!

Wasting no time, I quickly rushed out of the gate to scold that eccentric Todoroki man.

"Wait a minute, Touya!" I yelled. "Just what are you thinking!-"

I was about to say something more but the unfamiliar individual, who wasn't Touya by the way, standing in front of me halted me from talking any further more.

"Yo!" the blonde haired man greeted me with a huge smile on his face, waving his hand. "You're Nana-chan, right? It's been awhile. Do you remember me?"

Upon hearing the question, I started to analyze him carefully.

The man was of average height with a slim and narrow build, wearing model-like stylish clothes while he possessed feathery ash blonde hair that swept messily backward with some of the front tufts sticking up in arcs above his head, notably thick eyelashes and some faint stubble on his chin. His eyes were gold-brown in color and rather triangular in shape, with two little black triangles just below his tear ducts, making his eyes somewhat resemble those of a bird.

"Wait, Keigo?!" I gasped out in shock, after finally recognizing him. "Is that really you?"

"Yeah, that's me!" Keigo chuckled out. "Thank god you recognized me."

Keigo Takami, a 23 year old fashion model, was born and brought up here in Musutafu City. He was as the same age as Fuyumi and went to the same middle school and high school together with her. Back in their school days, Touya was also there by their side, but as he was a year older than them, this automatically made Touya their senior in both school and college by one year. After graduating from UA High, Touya left for college in America and after a year later both Fuyumi and Keigo followed him there to attend college as well. So, you all could say that Touya and Keigo had known each other for years now.
