a sound of a door sliding brought his attention back. 

alphys, papyrus, and undyne entered the room followed by Toriel and frisk.

error was mildly surprised by the two newcomers.

Toriel gasped at his appearance.

error looked completely different from papyrus and he was torn apart many times in his life.

Toriel and frisk was explained to that error was an alternate version of sans.

Toriel didn't meet sans in person so she doesn't know know sans was suppose to look like.

"s-sans?" frisk hesitantly asked before anyone could talk.

"your sans right?" frisk questioned.

"I AM an alternate version of him." error deadpanned. 

"n-no I mean like our sans." frisk corrected.

there was a silent pause.

"no I'm not your sans." error said firmly.

error brought the scarf closer to his face out of habit and stared at the floor.

"but I know its you! I can feel it." frisk protested.

its no used lying.

error is a terrible lier so they would find out eventually and he knew about that fact.

besides he's not the type to lie and would want to avoid it as much as possible.

even though his past self was good at it and did it in every reset.

but thats in the past he already changed.

who wouldn't change after they go through millions of years?

with those thoughts he said the truth.

"fine I'll admit I'm this aus sans from the far future." error said blankly eye-contacted with them.

everyone was speechless not knowing what to say.

they couldn't believe their eyes specifically papyrus his brother.

he was trying to hold back tears even Toriel.

undyne was pissed at the people who hurt him.

the sans they knew was now broken.

frisks curiosity grew.

"the future? what happened?" frisk asked.

"did they tell you about the multiverse?" error asked.

frisk nodded and error sighed.

"the multiverse collapsed and reset but it didn't do anything to me. now im somehow in my au and remembering pieces of my missing memories." error honestly answered.

"d-did c-creation become overwhelming?" alphys asked.

error nodded.

" I was not powerful enough to stop the multiverse from destruction." error looked away.

"please don't blame yourself error. nobody's perfect people always make mistakes. I make mistakes too." Toriel softly said with a smile.

" but I let billions of people to slowly die in-" error was cut off.

"like I said nobody's perfect. you can't alway twist things they way you desire." Toriel reminded.

error sighed for the third time and headed for the door.
